Vi henter dig på dit hotel i Cusco og tager til Ollantaytambo togstation, hvor vi går ombord på toget. Vi ankommer til Aguas Calientes, hvor vores guide venter på os, og vi tager en bus til det arkæologiske kompleks Machu Picchu. Du vil nyde en guidet tur på cirka 3 timer gennem det arkæologiske område Machu Picchu med vores ekspertguide, udforske de vigtigste områder og lære om dets fascinerende historie. Efter den guidede tur har du nok fritid til at udforske stedet på egen hånd, tage billeder og nyde den fantastiske udsigt.
Vi tager bussen tilbage til Aguas Calientes. Vi går ombord på toget tilbage til Ollantaytambo. Ved vores ankomst til Ollantaytambo venter vores transport på at tage os tilbage til Cusco, hvor vi afleverer dig på dit hotel. For at gøre afhentningen så organiseret som muligt, beder vi om detaljer om hotellet, hvor du bor. Vores tur begynder med hotelafhentning tidligt om morgenen kl. 5:30 Derefter vil vores firmatransport tage os til togstationen i Ollantaytambo. Derfra går vi ombord på toget til byen Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu), med en omtrentlig ankomsttid på 9:30. Dernæst tager vi bussen til det arkæologiske kompleks i Machu Picchu, hvor vi vil nyde en guidet tur på mere end 2 timer med en professionel guide, der besøger de vigtigste områder. Vi vil have tid nok til at tage billeder og nyde dette verdensvidunder. Efter turen tager vi transporten tilbage til byen Aguas Calientes. Senere går vi ombord på toget tilbage til Ollantaytambo-stationen, hvor vores transport vil vente med vores navne for at tage os tilbage til byen Cusco, og sætte os af på hotellet.

We scheduled the tour in Spanish, and that same day they asked us if we understood English and conducted the tour in English because the entire group was from the U.S. The train ticket was also very expensive, and my sister and I ended up in separate seats. They told us it was fine to change seats there, but the train was full, so it wasn't possible. The van was very uncomfortable; the seats could not recline, and it was very uncomfortable since it was many hours of travel.
This was my 4th trip to Machu Pichu and I was fairly disappointed. We flew 9hrs from the US, took a plane from Lima to Cusco, then took a 2hr bus ride that was bumpy as hell, then a two hour train ride, then the bus ride up the mountain.... all of this to be told that we only had 2:30 hours to walk around circuit 1. We could walk around the ruins themselves really because we only had circuit 1 tickets and not circuit 2... I wish the tour company had been much more communicative about all of the restrictions and limitations ahead of time. They didn't offer to get tickets for circuit 1 &2, they didn't even mention how the circuit system worked. I believe that if is in the best interest of these tour companies to explain this system to the customer as soon as the tickets are purchased rather than the day before, or the day of the tour.
We just came back for our trip. Everything was perfect and smooth since the moment we were picked up at our hotel until the drop off When we arrived to Aguas Calientes, Miguel our tour guide Miguel was waiting for us. Miguel was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, super nice, patient and an excellent photographer. He explained everything about the beautiful Machu Picchu and made us feel entertained. We really enjoyed and recommend this trip.
Extraordinary place. Only after the visit is it possible to understand how the beauty, harmony and energy of the place inspired and propelled the Inca civilization. Our guide Noah was wonderful in contextualizing history, philosophy, always inviting us to contemplate the place, with an appropriate pace in conducting the visitation, and always acting with a lot of enthusiasm.

Went to Machu Picchu with my boyfriend but also made a new friend through the tour we booked since the 3 of us were together from start to finish. We had a fabulous tour guide, Noé. Not only was he knowledgeable about the history of the grounds but he was able to share his own personal experiences. Additionally, he was our part-time photographer and was able to help with the poses! My boyfriend & I got engaged and he gave us the most beautiful authentic blessing. Noé really made the experience that much better, considering the views are to die for =)
