Great family experience with Thai cookery school. 4 hours of exchange and culinary sharing on Thai cuisine. Market with an explanation of the ingredients we would use then design and tasting the dishes we had chosen. The experience could even make us believe that we are a super Thai cook and all thanks to the staff of the Thai cookery school. The whole family was delighted We recommend without moderation

Great event! Tom and Boom were excellent instructors and made it fun! We were lucky to have them to just our group. We were picked up at hotel and taken to a local market where we learned about ingredients and they picked up fresh items for our class. We had a few minutes there to shop as well. Then on to close cooking class, almost like being welcomed to a home, we were greeted with a delightful refreshing tea & snack. And then got to work on cooking and eating several courses! Delicious and no need to eat the rest of the day! We left with cook books and pictures . If you are staying in the central / old city inside the wall the location is excellent. Highly recommend, wonderful experience.

Great cooking class in Chiang Mai. The class was lead by Tommy and Boom and they were both super friendly and full of enthusiastic. We started with a trip to the local market to look and fresh herbs and vegetables used in Thai cooking. Back in the kitchen we worked our way through several recipes, enjoying the taste of each dish as we finished. Although we cook Thai dishes at home it was great to learn some new techniques to improve our cooking. The class is very well organised with some prepping for each dish and helpful demonstrations along the way. There is also a recipe book provided. We enjoyed the class and found it a fun, enjoyable experience. Would suggest bringing some drinks to enjoy with the meal. Highly recommended!

The menu was the main reason I chose this cooking program over others. We made 4 dishes each including Pad Tahi, Tom Kha Gai (Tom Yum Goong - for my partner), Spring Rolls, and Khao Soi. There were other options available but these are what we chose. We learned a lot about the main ingredients used to make many traditional Thai dishes. The instructors were great. Very kind, and friendly, and answered our many questions. I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn a bit more about Thai food. After this course, I feel more confident in trying Thai cuisine other than fried rice and pad Thai.

Best Cooking School Ever! Absolutely incredible staff with Tommy instructing us (only three of us, max is eight!). The kitchen is very well organized and extremely clean. We were taken to a local market where Tommy explained the vegetables we were going to use in class. We each chose four items to prepare and cook. After each item, we enjoyed eating them. There was enough delicious food that we didn't eat the remainder of the day! If you are ever in Chiang Mia, don't miss this!

We attended the afternoon cooking class and it was a wonderful experience. Boom, the chef, is a sweet and kind person, very prepared and organized, with whom we immediately found ourselves in tune. We were a small group (my husband, me and two German girls), which made the experience very personal. We started by going to a local Point of Sale where Boom explained to us in detail what ingredients we would use and gave us really very useful information, then we cooked in the beautiful house where he holds the courses, which is a friendly and professional environment, nestled in the historic center of Chiang Mai. The recipes cooked were delicious, each of us could also choose between different dishes to prepare, adapting the menu to our needs (the other girls were vegetarian, I am allergic to shellfish and seafood). They gave us a nice recipe book really well made and every recipe learned is absolutely replicable at home. I would like to emphasize that everyone cooks at a private location each recipe, so you actively participate in every stage of the course. And the value for money is really great! I have done many cooking classes around the world, including another in Thailand, and I can safely say that this Baan Thai is the best ever made, so I absolutely recommend it!

Beautifully organised and very well thought of, offering a trip to the market, personal cooking station, great menu to choose from and an air-conditioned space. Instructors were amazing! 100% recommend.
