Oplev Top-vinsmagning på tre af de fineste vingårde på denne private halvdags-vinlandstur fra Cape Town til Paarl og Stellenbosch med en personlig rejseguide/chauffør i et privat køretøj. Nyd en oste- og vinsmagning på Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate, Biltong og vinsmagning på Marianne Wine Estate og en vinsmagning på Babylonstoren. Afslut dagen med en køretur forbi Stellenbosch byorientering - den næstældste by i Sydafrika og hjemsted for mere end 200 vingårde. Dette er den perfekte tur for gæster med begrænset tid, eller som kun ønsker at besøge et par vingårde i Cape Winelands.

Kort efter afhentning på din bolig i Cape Town kører vi ad N1-nationalvejen mod Fairview Wine and Cheese-ejendom.
Ved vores ankomst til Fairview Wine and Cheese ejendom, vil din rejseguide eskortere dig til vinsmagningsområdet. Når du strejfer mellem de 4 vinsmagningsbælg og den dejlige ost og krydderier Deli, vil du have mulighed for at smage seks af de bedste vin og ost produceret i denne region. Vin og ost er alle tilgængelige for køb.
Vi kører et stykke til Babylonstoren. Babylonstoren, der ligger på baggrund af Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof og Franschhoek-bjergene, er en af de smukkeste vingårde i Cape Winelands. Ejendommen byder på en frugt- og grøntsagshave og en gård-til-bord-restaurant kaldet Babel (det er vigtigt at reservere). Der er to andre spisesteder på ejendommen, Drivhuset og Bageriet. Greenhouse serverer frokoster og forfriskninger i picnic-stil, mens bageriet serverer uformelle middage. Vi bruger 1 time på en vinsmagningsrejse på 3 eller 7 af de fineste vine, der kan købes hos Babylonstoren.
Vores sidste vingårdsstop vil være på Marianne Wine Estate. Marianne producerer nogle af de bedste rødvinssorter i Sydafrika. Her vil vi nyde en Biltong og vinsmagning. Marianne mener, at biltong (tørret kød) forstærker smagen af deres producerede vin. Mariannes Floreal-vin blev håndplukket af kokken Gordon Ramsey til Nelson Mandelas 90-års fødselsdag i Buckingham Palace.
Vi tager en naturskøn køretur gennem Dorp Street i byen Stellenbosch, den næstældste by i Sydafrika, på en køretur forbi byen. Se de historiske huse i Cape Dutch-stil og det berømte Stellenbosch University.
Derfra tager vi tilbage til Cape Town for at aflevere ved dit overnatningssted mellem 14:00 og 14:30

Gordon was an amazing tour guide and took us to some of the best wineries in Stellenbosch. We did not feel rushed and we were able to really soak in the experience. I highly recommend this half day tour if you’re looking to get out of the city and see some beautiful landscapes nearby.

We LOVED our tour guide, Ray who was so professional and informative, and the wine venues, themselves, were great. Viator, however, isn’t to be trusted with scheduling. We’ve only used them twice, in two different parts of the world, and they botched our schedules, both times. Go direct with local tour guides and bypass Viator if at all possible.

We had a wonderful day with our private driver- It was a last minute booking and the driver Thomas was so kind and fun! Very knowlegeable about wines and the area. He chose 3 different wineries - each had food (usually to purchase) and a lovely tasting. He would make sure that they would seat us right away by communicating with those in charge. I highly recommend this trip!

We visited 2 estates, Demorgenzen and Marianne. Both were pleasant and picturesque. Reagan was our friendly& well versed guide&driver, he shares some knowledge and history of the estates and we will definitely be back to visit more farms and ask for him by name.

We had the best day visiting Stellenbosch. Reagan was the best guide, with excellent local knowledge and kept us laughing throughout. We went to Demorganzan and marianne winery’s with a lovely stop off in Stellenbosch town in between, visiting the local museum. It was a perfect day out, with the nicest guide we could have asked for. Would highly recommend doing this tour and ask for Reagan!
