Our guide was a no show. It was raining and I guess he/she decided not to bother. We were at the correct location German fountain, but no guide.
We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not go as expected, and we understand how disappointing it must have been to miss the tour. However, we would like to clarify that our guide was present at the meeting point as scheduled. The German Fountain is a well-known and specific location, and as always, we sent the exact meeting point and GPS coordinates one day in advance to avoid any confusion. It’s possible there was a misunderstanding or a slight location mismatch. Our guides never cancel tours due to rain, and we always operate as scheduled unless weather conditions are unsafe. We also encourage guests to contact us immediately if they experience any difficulty — our team is very responsive and ready to assist in real time. Despite this, we issued a full refund to you as a gesture of goodwill, even though the situation technically did not fall under our refund policy. We hope this shows our commitment to guest satisfaction, and we would be happy to welcome you again in the future under better circumstances.
The guide, Zeki, provided insights that I never would have acquired by just looking at the Mosque. I learned much from his descriptions. His english was pretty good too. No traveler should visit these sites without guide.
