Beautiful excursion

I've been on many city tours, and Hanoi's is truly special. You'll walk through places like the Temple of Literature, where the air feels wise, and St. Joseph's Cathedral, quiet and graceful in the middle of the busy streets. But the place that really hit me was Hoa Lo Prison. It's not easy to visit. The cells, the stories, they stay with you. There's no drama, just truth. And that truth is powerful. It reminds you of what people endured, and how strong they were. If you want to understand Vietnam beyond the surface, don't skip this. Go in with respect and come out changed.

100% recommend

Hanoi moved like a slow waltz, cathedrals in quiet corners, citadels wrapped in memory, lakes that shimmered with legend. But Tran Quoc Pagoda was the verse that stayed with me. Its spire rose against the morning sky, reflected in the still waters of West Lake. The air smelled of incense and lotus, and time seemed to pause. I watched a monk light a candle, his gesture gentle, deliberate. In that moment, the city's noise faded. What remained was grace. If Hanoi has a soul, I found it there, floating between silence and light.

Beautiful nature

That day, I went to all the usual spots, pagodas, old prisons, cathedrals. Each had its own story, its own beauty. But the moment that really stayed with me was at Ngoc Son Temple, sitting quietly on a little island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Walking across that red bridge felt like crossing into something deeper. Inside, it was calm. The scent of incense hung in the air, and everything slowed down. I didn't take pictures. I just stood there, soaking it in. Sometimes, the most meaningful moments are the quiet ones. So when you're out there, don't just look. Feel it. Let it reach you.

Highly recommended tour for good price!

The day unfolded like a slow pan across history, pagodas, citadels, colonial cathedrals. But then the camera stopped. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum stood silent, massive, immovable. Guards in crisp white uniforms, tourists hushed, the air thick with reverence. But even from the outside, it felt sacred. The square was still, the flag fluttered, and I understood, this wasn't just a monument. It was a heartbeat. In that moment, Hanoi wasn't just a city, it was a story of devotion carved in stone.

Perfect amount of time and good variety of activities

Hanoi invites reflection. At Tran Quoc Pagoda, the scent of incense and the stillness of West Lake offered a moment of peace. The Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, echoed with centuries of wisdom beneath its ancient rooftops. And at Hoan Kiem Lake, legend and life intertwined, locals strolling, lanterns glowing, Turtle Tower standing watch. These places don't overwhelm; they whisper. For travelers seeking quiet beauty and cultural depth, Hanoi delivers a journey that lingers long after you leave.

Love the ways tour going

The mix of beauty and history was powerful. Tran Quoc pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh house, and the temple of literature were all graceful. But Hoa Lo prison was raw. I didn't expect to feel so shaken. Hanoi doesn't sugarcoat, and I respect that

You would never get disappoint

I thought this would be just another city tour. But from the quiet grace of Tran Quoc pagoda to the brutal honesty of Hoa Lo prison, I felt everything. Riding a cyclo around the old quarter was fun and gave me a new view of daily life. And the architecture around Hoan Kiem lake? Absolutely charming. I'll be back, not for so long, Hanoi.

Best way to enjoy Hanoi

The Ho Chi Minh mausoleum was powerful, not just the building, but the respect people showed. The wooden house where he lived was so simple. it made me think. Later, we visited the Imperial Citadel and Hoa Lo prison. The prison was haunting. I didn't expect to feel so emotional. But the water puppet show in the evening lifted my spirits

A wonderful Hanoi city tour

This was my first time in Hanoi and this day tour gave me best introduction. Highlights included HCM’s stilt house, temple of literature and st. joseph’s cathedral in old quarter. Our fantastic guide was patient, accommodating our dietary requirements and always ready with tips about food places to try later. If you want to see the main Hanoi attractions on your Hanoi trip, this is perfect.

So many different places in a day

I couldn’t believe how many different places we covered. From the calm beauty of West Lake to the history of Hoa Lo Prison, each stop added to my understanding of Vietnamese culture. The Temple of Literature was stunning, and lunch offered amazing food including pho and summer rolls. This tour really helped me explore Hanoi in just one day.
