Din rejse til Auschwitz starter med at hente fra et tidligere bestemt sted i Krakow fra et hotel eller lejlighed eller fra vores mødested. Turen fra Krakow til Auschwitz tager cirka 1,5 time. Oplysninger om din afhentningstid får du en dag før turen.
Når du ankommer til Auschwitz, møder du din guide. Sammen kommer I ind i museet og på mindre end 2 timers gang vil han vise dig et af de mørkeste steder fra Anden Verdenskrig. Under dit besøg på dette sted vil du se: porten "Arbeit mach frei", det sidste gaskammer, der overlevede og en masse udstillinger med fotos og rester af fanger
Efter pausen tager chaufføren dig til den anden lejr, Auschwitz II Birkenau. Du møder din guide igen foran indgangsporten. I løbet af den mere end en times gåtur vil din guide vise dig den anden lejr, som var den største koncentrationslejr bygget af nazisterne. I denne lejr vil du se: "Dødsporten" med sporene, der fører til lejren, aflæsningsrampen, hvor togene med fangerne ankom, ruinerne af gaskamrene og krematorier, monumentet over ofrene for Holocaust og bygninger, hvor fanger levede.
Efter afslutningen af turen, fører chaufføren dig til dit hotel / vandrerhjem / lejlighed i Krakow.

I henhold til museets reglement skal HVER TURARATØR først samle en komplet navneliste og først derefter kan de få en adgangstid. Som bekræftelse sender de alle navnene, som ikke kan ændres senere. The transport, driver and tour guide were excellent . I was kept well informed in advance of the visit . Just disappointed that we originally booked a 9 am pick up which changed to 5.30 am .

The communication leading up to tour was excellent - we received regular text messages and communication about what to expect, travel to our destination, and we pre-ordered lunch from our driver - all best in class. What we were not expecting was to be "herded" in a very large group with other tourists with differing walking capabilities. The tour guide walked extremely fast and did not check in/wait for the full group. She was also hard to understand in English, and she did not seem to understand the needs of those on her tour, not did she seem to care about our understanding her or our comfort. My recommendations are that guests are offered a slower or faster walking tour group and that native English speakers provide feedback to the tour guide.

The driver picked us up at our hotel, he gave us information during the journey about what to expect and timings for the tour, the guide Anna was excellent, such passion for what she does, the information she passed on to us and the way she told the story was brilliant. The whole process was very smooth. There was frequent communication regarding what time to expect to be picked up as well as general information such as what we need to bring. I had read in reviews of other tour companies about relatively late cancellations, but there was no concern about that with this company as they kept in contact.

A very moving and thought provoking experience. The scale of what happened at Auschwitz is unimaginable. Nothing really prepare you for the level of cruelty and the conditions that the inmates had to live under. Our tour guide was excellent. We understand a lot more of life in the camp. The movies don't come close.
