Du vil også sejle rundt Alcatraz og hele vejen til Oakland Bay Bridge. Nyd dit valg af to drikkevarer: Champagne, mimosa, øl, vin, sodavand eller vand. It was a last minute decision since we had a few hours to kill before our next activity and it made it into one of the most emerald things on our trip. Being in a sailboat, sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alkatraz was absolutely amazing. We saw birds, dolphins a sailboat race-Just great! Definitely recommend and worth every penny.
Viator did a good job keeping me apprised of this trip. We met the captain and mate of this 41’, two-masted sailboat near the end of Pier 39 in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf area. The captain went over a few safety rules and offered a few beverage choices before we motored out to the Golden Gate Bridge. From there we sailed along the northern part of the Bay and around Alcatraz before heading back to the dock. The weather was mostly overcast with a few sprinkles and light winds. Apparently that is more common with the 10 a.m. trip and winds pick up by the 12 o’clock trip. We and a second couple enjoyed conversation with the crew plus we watched passing ships, porpoises, birds, and some guy swimming with an accompanying boat.. Overall a very relaxing morning well worth the trip.
Make sure to layer up. They were so prepared, gave us coats and a blanket. Need hat, gloves and windbreaker.
Nice relaxing sailing experience! The crew were friendly and accomodating. Beautiful day despite the chilly SF weather. Good timing since we were the only ones in board. Enjoyed the relaxing sail!
The winds were light, so we just motored around. The light winds are typical for the 10am cruise. The boat is not comfortable. Definitely not worth the price. :(
Chris, Yes unfortunately there are rare times when the wind is not perfect. We get good wind about 90% of the time which is what makes the San Francisco Bay one of the best sailing destinations in the world. Please note the sail is not narrated, it’s just like going out sailing with friends. Troy
Waited at the dock when got a txt trip cancelled... Wish they could have told me that before I got up at 7 and then walked 3 miles.... IDK who's fault it is but call before you go is all I can say.
One of the best experiences in visiting San Fran. The crew was great, helpful, and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend and do it again!

Had a great time sailing with skipper Jeff and first mate. Windy and cold (summertime in SF) but sailed to Sausalito and back. Great views of Alcatraz and downtown SF.
Very fun and nice tour, went under the golden gate bride, past Alcatraz, saw the skyline and came in. Just under two hours. The Captain and First Mate were great.
