Selvom dette smukke vandfald ikke er et af de største i landet, er det et af det islandske folks mest elskede vandfald på grund af dets placering og sin historiske betydning
Vi besøger Efstidalur mejerifarm for at få is og også besøge islandske køer og andre dyr.
Geysir geotermiske område er ganske fantastisk, hvor man er vidne til, at gejseren Strokkur bryder ud hvert femte minut.

Efter at have spist frokost (ikke inkluderet) på denne tomatgård, får vi et indblik i processerne med drivhusgartneri med en kort og informativ samtale om emnet. Friðheimar avler også islandske heste, så vi kan se og kæledyr et par af dem.

Fun day with Michaela. Enjoyed the tomato farm, the geiser, the Kerid Crater was ok. Well spaced day.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best Tours I’ve Ever Been On! Our Golden Circle tour in Iceland was absolutely incredible, and so much of that was because of our amazing tour guide- Gon! He was extremely knowledgeable, informative, funny, and engaging, but in such a calm and easygoing way. He shared so much fascinating information about Iceland—its history, culture, geography, and incredible landscape—without ever making it feel overwhelming or rehearsed. He has a natural way of sharing his knowledge that makes you genuinely want to listen and learn. Everything about the day was seamless. He was incredibly punctual, the pick-up and drop-off locations were perfect, and his driving was excellent. We felt comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the entire tour. His relaxed personality, subtle sense of humor, and incredible knowledge made the entire experience so enjoyable and memorable. He didn’t just drive us around the Golden Circle—he really added so much to the experience and helped us appreciate Iceland on a completely different level. I’ve been on many tours while traveling, and I can genuinely say this was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. I would recommend him without hesitation. If you’re visiting Iceland and have the opportunity to take a tour with him, absolutely do it! 🇮🇸❤️
This may have been the best tour I have been on. Our guide Einar was a real pro. He was equal parts funny and informative. The tour was well organized and ran smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing ice cream and the dinner at the Tomato Farm. Lastly, I greatly enjoyed talking with Einar at the end and getting lots of recommendations for local food and shopping.

This tour was a great experience and better than advertised. Our tour guide Einar was super knowledgeable, and took really good care of us throughout the day. We enjoyed every stop, and even got to pet a dog while having ice cream.

Excellent tour well hosted by Ionut who managed to maintain an interesting, informative and sometimes amusing commentary whilst keeping us safely between the ditches. Good pace and plenty of interesting stops at comfortable intervals. The only minor hitch was because we were given the wrong licence number for our pickup van resulting in a bit of a delay and misunderstanding. Otherwise first class

We had beautiful weather the whole day. Our guide Ionut was so great and entertained us during the bus travel. So glad we opted for the stops at the dairy farm for ice cream and the tomato farm for lunch. Seeing the wonders of Iceland is a must, especially the Geysir, the Gullfoss waterfall and the crater. East west is the best tour company without a doubt, as we were with a different tour company the day before. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a great day. The pick up was flawless. Michaela, our guide was excellent .Very informative and personable. She explained what we were doing and where we would be with great insight, and knowlege. Her insightful tips helped us beat the rush when things got busy. We even saw an Icelandic horse herd being moved on the highway. Some horses were trotting in the “Tolt” style as earlier described by Michaela. So cool. I highly recommend this tour, guide, and company. 10 stars.

We did the Golden Circle tour and it was amazing. Our driver, Ionut, was the best. He was very knowledgeable on all the sites along with the folklore. Ionut was fantastic.

I was concerned about 9 hour tour, but I went for it and we were so glad. Time flew by. The sites were great. Pacing was great so not too long in one place or on the road. Never felt rushed, nor were we sitting around bored. The best part was our tour guide Gon. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Just excellent guy. Really can’t say enough about it. This was in a Mercedes Sprinter so 17 on our tour (19 max) and it was very comfortable. Again, ask for Gon. He is the best!!
