Begynd ved Thingvellir National Park, et UNESCO-verdensarvssted, hvor Islands gamle parlament blev oprettet i 930 e.Kr. Dernæst Efstidalur mejerigård for økologiske, hjemmelavede is, der legemliggør essensen af Island. Oplev Geysir geotermiske område. Besøg Gullfoss vandfaldet. Et af de mest interessante steder i Island på grund af dets geologiske og historiske betydning. Det holder mødet med de amerikanske og eurasiske tektoniske plader, men også dette sted blev valgt til at fejre generalforsamlingen, det er her Islands parlament blev grundlagt i 930 A.D.
Selvom dette smukke vandfald ikke er et af de største i landet, er det et af det islandske folks mest elskede vandfald på grund af dets placering og sin historiske betydning
Vi besøger Efstidalur mejerifarm for at få is og også besøge islandske køer og andre dyr.
Geysir geotermiske område er ganske fantastisk, hvor man er vidne til, at gejseren Strokkur bryder ud hvert femte minut.
Det tordnende Gullfoss-vandfald topper mange lister som et kraftfuldt og hypnotiserende naturfænomen
Efter at have spist frokost (ikke inkluderet) på denne tomatgård, får vi et indblik i processerne med drivhusgartneri med en kort og informativ samtale om emnet. Friðheimar avler også islandske heste, så vi kan se og kæledyr et par af dem.
Det er en af flere kratersøer i området, kendt som Islands vestlige vulkanzone, der inkluderer Reykjanes-halvøen og Langjökull-gletscher, skabt, når landet flyttede over en lokal hotspot, men det er den, der har den mest visuelt genkendelige caldera stadig intakt.

De forlader ikke afhentningsstedet, medmindre de ikke kan finde dig. -Hvis du bor i centrum, og du ikke kan finde navnet på dit hotel på listen, skal du bruge det busstoppested, der er udpeget til din specifikke bolig. Disse busstoppesteder blev skabt af byen Reykjavik for at begrænse trafikken af busser og større køretøjer i de til tider smalle gader i de ældre dele af Reykjavik.

I just finished the Golden Circle tour which was the full day tour with Eduard and wow what an amazing day! Such a lovely person and everything was expertly organized and nicely paced and the perfect size of group. Eddie was most entertaining with the stories about Iceland. He also provided useful and helpful information about each place so we went so we could get the most out of each stop. The van was very comfortable. I would highly recommend Eddie and East west tours.
Amazing golden circle tour with Eduard, he was so knowledgeable of all the sites and an interesting and entertaining commentator for our group. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful day touring the Golden Circle. Al was our guide. He has a lovely disposition and calming voice. Not to mention he's very informative and makes the day quite enjoyable. The tour was very well paced. We didn't feel rushed at any of the stops. The Mercedes Sprinter van accommodated 19 people, was clean and quite comfortable. Lunch was available at the indoor tomato farm for purchase but not included in the tour's price. We highly recommend going on this tour. Request Al!
The tour was conducted in a professional way all on time. Our guide also managed to stop at additional stopovers over and above that was mentioned in the itinerary.
A good trip and everyone says it is a must when visiting Iceland , saw some amazing things but areas are extremely crowded due to popularity and whilst sites are great , we definitely saw better elsewhere in Iceland. Did not really get long enough at each site and it felt rushed all day. Also wasted a lot of time at a dairy farm for buying ice cream which was unnecessary and felt like a kick back for tour guides.

We spent the day with Simon the Spicy Viking while touring the Golden Circle of Iceland. He kept us entertained & laughing throughout the 9 hour tour. All of the stops were great and our small group was the perfect size. I would highly recommend this tour w/Simon when you’re in Reykjavik, Iceland.
