Vi tilbyder en unik måde at udforske Metropolitan Museum, gennem omhyggeligt kureret, tema, interaktive ture. Vi inkluderer diskussioner, aktiviteter og handouts for at skabe en unik oplevelse. Tourgoers vil udforske kunstværker fra hele verden og fra mange kulturer, ser på forbindelser mellem dem, og udforske deres forhold til temaet. Fra det skræmmende til det skræmmende, det makabre til det mystiske, det spøgelsesrige til det ghoulish, vil den interaktive "Ghost Stories" tage besøgende på en tur af skræmmende ting i Metropolitan Museum. Deltagerne vil rejse tværs af kulturer og tværs af tiden for at se flyvende hollændere og begravelsesmasker, stille liv og skulpturer. Vi vil se på egyptiske, amerikanske og europæiske kunstværker, for at nævne nogle få, plus gøre en sjov aktivitet. I mellemtiden vil vi se på, hvordan forskellige kulturer skildrer det skræmmende og det forfærdelige, i jagten på, hvad der skræmmer os... og hvorfor. Denne tur anbefales til børn 10 og op.

Ghost Stories-tur: Fra det uhyggelige til det skræmmende, det makabre til det mystiske, det spøgelsesagtige til det åndssvage, vil den interaktive "Ghost Stories" tage besøgende med på en rundtur i de skræmmende ting i Metropolitan Museum. Deltagerne vil rejse på tværs af kulturer og på tværs af tid for at se Flying Dutchmen og begravelsesmasker, stilleben og skulpturer. Vi vil se på egyptiske, amerikanske og europæiske kunstværker, for at nævne nogle få, samt lave sjove og uhyggelige aktiviteter. Alt imens vil vi se på, hvordan forskellige kulturer skildrer det frygtindgydende og det grusomme, i jagten på, hvad der skræmmer os ... og hvorfor.

We went on this tour for our work Halloween party, and it was so much fun! Evan was so knowledgeable, and it was so interesting thinking about art in a different way. We went to parts of the Met that I didn't even know existed. Such a unique experience, highly recommend!!!!

My wife and I met with our tour guide Evie /Evan right on time and she made the tour fun and informative. Luckily we were the only individuals that showed up do due the others having to cancel. She was great with the information and was able to answer all of our questions. We would definitely do another tour with her.

The whole family (two parents and kids 15,12 and 12) totally enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide (the owner of the company) gave such a great tour and kept everyone engaged. We all really loved it and learned so much. It was a great way to go through parts of an overwhelmingly large and beautiful museum with a mixed group of ages and attention spans. The group was small (6 of us total) and I believe she limits it to 12 tops, so you have the opportunity to ask questions. She has years of previous experience working for the met and knows so much about the art there. This tour was not scary at all. My 12 year old said he wanted to do another tour with her tomorrow!

Evie was awesome! She is very entertaining and knows a lot about the museum. She worked there a long time and gave us great tips as to what to look at after the tour. What was great was how she pointed out pieces that we may have never looked at twice before and now we had a story that went with it.

I had a great time seeing a totally different side of the Met. It was spooky fun, but never scary. I would recommend this to people interested in the macabre or alternative tours of popular sites.
