For fuldt ud at opdage en by kan man deltage i en masse ture og spise på mange steder, offentliggjort i rejseguider og anbefalet af onlinerejsende, men den sande lokale ved, hvor han skal tage dig hen, og du vil blive parret med en lokal ekspert, der vil fortælle du historier, kuriositeter og vil tage dig til steder uden for turistlinsen. Vi besøger de vigtigste og mindst anerkendte hitspots i UNESCO Genova Vicoli-området. Hos os vil du også være i stand til at spise nogle af de mest typiske snacks, der er tilgængelige i byen, hvilket betyder meget for de lokales gastronomiske historie. Aktiviteten er velegnet til folk i alle aldre, lige fra barnet, der opdager nysgerrighederne bag vicoliens vægge, til de voksne lærer om Genovas kultur.

Går vi forbi Palazzo Ducale, går vi ind på dens gårdhave og ser inde fra en af de vigtigste bygninger i byens centrum.
Ser du udefra, vil du opdage den sande natur af katedralen San Lorenzo og alle de historier og kuriositeter, der ligger bag den og dens facade.
Beliggende mellem middelalder- og barokke paladser, er det et hit for byens centrum og dens "sestriere" af Molo.
En af de mest berømte vicoli, vil du være i stand til at opdage den ægte genuesiske natur i en af de smukkeste smalle gader.
Fuld af botteghes og små gamle butikker, vil du udforske den ældre side af vicoli, hvor botteghe var de centrale figurer i den gamle by. Sælgere, markeder, læderbutikker og mange kan lide dem!
Den "allerede kendt som" Strada Nuova, er en af de mest anerkendte gader i hele byen. Her finder du de fleste af UNESCO-bygningerne såsom Palazzo Rosso, og vi tager dig til et uventet, men værd mødested uden for turiststien!

This was a great way to get a feel for Genoa. Our guide was Valentina and she was terrific. Her knowledge of the city, its history and its culture was outstanding. Everything she did was in a fun way and with a great sense of humor. She even gave us tips on how to get around the city and the best way to get to our rental car when we leave. She went above and beyond expectations. The focaccia we had was simply amazing as were the other treats we sampled. The views from the lookout area above the city was spectacular!
Our tour guide Serena was fantastic. Grew up in Genoa…very personable and very knowledgeable! It was a great way to see Genoa and to taste some of the local food. She also gave us recommendations for other things to do and for local restaurants. Serena was very accommodating and flexible as we toured so we were able to stop in a few shops as we went. All in, a superb tour and guide!!
Valentina was a wonderful guide! So much local information; well worth the cost. I highly recommend this tour!
We enjoyed the tour of the heart of Genova with brief stops of typical Genovese food specialties such as panera (a special semi-freddo), foccacia, and local sweets along the way. We learned interesting things about Genova, too. The guide, who was charming, was 15-20 minutes late which made our 2hr-30min tour only about 2 hours.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the tour and it was so informative and both learnt lots about Genoa and the Liguria region. We love doing tours when they’re run by locals and Valentina was fantastic! The local food was delicious and Valentina was very keen to answer any questions! As there were only the 2 of us on the tour it felt like a private VIP tour and we would highly recommend for anyone visiting Genoa!
I cannot rate this tour but a solid 5 stars! I must say that this walking tour brought me to places I did not know they existed even if I searched online many many times for highlights in Genoa. We entered a little shop and tried out the typical Panera which was just amazing and tried out the best focaccia in Genoa after days of trying it out in many spots! We walked by the bakery again later on in the day and it was crazy busy, we had the luck of going there at a quiet time and doing the tour in the morning for sure helped a lot! The confectionery shop we entered was just stunning and the little desserts were just delicious and the gallery and palaces we entered brought us back in time like we would have never thought! Even my youngest child was stunned. Taking an elevator, we went to a high spot to look over the city centre. Genoa looked stunning from up there.. Thank you for taking my family and I on this walk. I did not regret it!!
