Turen starter med hotel afhentning i Panama City efterfulgt af en transfer til Gamboa Marina.
Gamboa er en fredelig regnskov by beliggende på mødestedet for Chagres floden og Panama kanal. Kendt for sin frodige jungle, rigelige dyreliv og historisk kanal infrastruktur, er det et af de bedste steder i Panama at opleve naturen tæt på. Besøgende kan nyde en fantastisk udsigt over Gatun-søen og den omkringliggende regnskov.
Når du er der, vil du gå på en 15 minutters bådtur på Gatun søen, indtil du observerer 3 slags Aper i naturen. Sammen med en guide, vil du bruge omkring 90 minutter på at observere de forskellige arter af aber. Efter besøget vil du tage en 15 minutters bådtur tilbage til Gamboa Marina efterfulgt af en transfer tilbage til dit hotel.

A great tour with our AMAZING tour guide Jenny, she was very knowledgeable about the history and very engaging. we saw the ships passing through the canal and some really cute monkeys. 10/10 would recommend!!!
This was lovely morning tour which was made extra special by the guide Daniel. He has a lovely personality and made sure that we all enjoyed the morning. We saw all 3 monkeys and various other animals like iguana, bats and crocodile. Lots of opportunities for great photos as the monkeys came on the boat. We even got some history lessons and serenaded by Daniel:)
Monkeys seen very quickly, fed to be approached, not very interesting. Too touristy for our taste. Very nice guide, however.
The guide makes the tour great. It was a fascinating and enjoying experience. It was far better than I expected. The monkeys actually come on the boat

We had a fantastic experience on the Monkey Island tour and highly recommend it! Our guide picked us up right on time in a comfortable van and immediately made the drive enjoyable by sharing information about Panama’s history, neighborhoods, and the Panama Canal. Along the way, she pointed out the canal infrastructure, including the railway and ships as they passed, which added a lot of context to the experience. Once we reached the water, our boat driver was excellent. The driver and our guide worked together as a perfect team throughout the tour. We saw monkeys on each island we visited and were able to get surprisingly close to them from the boat. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the different monkey species but also about the other wildlife we encountered. She clearly knew the area and was great at pointing out things we otherwise would have missed.
Our experience was amazing. Daniel was our tour guide, he is very friendly and detailed. Enjoyed this trip from the beginning to the end. Driver and captain also took us safely to and from. And as Daniel says, "God Bless"!
From start to finish, Milton was attentive to everyone in our tour group. He was knowledgeable about the history of Panama and the various animal species on Monkey Island. We had such a great experience with the monkeys and saw plenty of monkeys even though we took the 11:30a tour and had heard that the 8a was better timing wise. Everything was perfect. My kids are 22 and 10 and they said I’m the GOAT (greatest of all time). We recommend this tour and will do it again!
We had a great time. Milton was an incredible tour guide. He was funny and informative. He knew how to keep our children (and us) engaged. The islands and animalswere fun to see and interact with. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who enjoys nature and animals.
Great trip to get out of Panama City and onto Lake Gatun to see various species of monkeys and other animals. There are quite a few other other boats about so it was busy enough rather than feeling fully out in nature, but we saw lots of animals, and Milton our guide was very professional and full of info!
