Lalli was an amazing tour guide. He covered the entire history of Iceland as we strolled around the centre of Reykjavik. His talk was entertaining and very well delivered, with nary a slip up. We got a tasty hot dog at an iconic stand near the end of the tour. It ran almost exactly to its stated 2.5 hour run time.

Fun way to learn about Reykjavik and Iceland! My family and I enjoyed this tour very much! We were able to walk around the city and see many of the sights and landmarks with our guide. And the hot dog at the end of the tour was delicious! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the city with a very fun and low key vibe!

This tour was such a great way to learn about Reykjavik and the history of Iceland! Our guide, Lalli, was joyful, kind and extremely knowledgeable! It was the perfect amount of time and well worth the money! You even get a famous Icelandic hot dog to end the tour. We would definitely recommend doing this as an activity during your trip to Iceland!

Our experience with Lalli on the Funky History Walking Tour was nothing short of fantastic. Lalli provides great insight into Icelandic history and people and delivers it with a wonderful sense of humor. The tour is perfectly paced and our family group came away with a very helpful overview of Icelandic history. Lalli is engaging and enjoyable. This is a great(and fun) way to learn about Iceland and Reykjavik in a tour lasting several hours. Definitely a great choice.

We absolutely loved our history walk with Lalli. In 2 1/2 hours we not only saw pretty much all of Reykjavik, but also got an extremely comprehensive history of Iceland. It was the perfect way to kick off our trip and now we feel so well-versed and ready to explore the rest of the country. Lalli is a great storyteller and we traveled with our teenage kids and they were enthralled as well. 10/10 recommend, a must-do tour when visiting!

We recently took the Funky History Walking Tour with Lalli and had a great experience. There were just three of us on that day so it was essentially a private tour, with plenty of opportunity to ask follow up questions about the sites on the tour and to have conversations with Lalli. Lalli is a master storyteller and shared lots of interesting bits about the history and culture of Reykjavik and of Iceland. We would highly recommend this tour option for anyone who wants something that feels more personalized and goes beyond the typical walking tour.
