Full-Day Mamoni White Water River Rafting

Nyd en fuld dag med white water rafting langs Mamoni River, det nærmeste hvide vand eventyr til Panama City, som kun er 1,5 timer øst for byen. Floden var banebrydende for rafting og kajaksejlads i januar 1998. Med moderate til intense strømfald, når Mamoni-floden normalt sin højeste vandstand i november, i højsæsonen og den laveste vandstand i maj-april ved slutningen af den tørre sæson.

Gæster henter kl. 07.00 i Panama City. Ankom til startpunktet halvanden time senere for at starte rafting omkring kl. 9:30. Floden er klassificeret som Klasse III-IV (moderat til intens). Der er et par klasse V strømfald, som vi ville vandre på grund af sikkerhedshensyn. Blandt dem, et smukt vandfald. Flåderne vil blive plukket afhængig af vandstanden. Mindre 11' flåder og ænder (oppustelige kajakker) fra december til februar, ænder fra marts til april og mindre flåder og ænder fra maj til juni. Gruppen bør ankomme til take-out-zonen cirka kl. 15.30 og være tilbage ved det oprindelige afhentningssted omkring kl. 17.30.

Vi henter kun i Panama City hoteller. Disse hoteller i nærliggende område som Westin & Dreams, Playa Bonita (i Veracruz) eller Gamboa Rainforest serviceres ikke regelmæssigt. Vi kan arrangere afhentning og frafald fra hoteller uden for Panama City normalt 30 minutter før Panama City hotel specificeret afhentningstid, og normalt til en pris på $ 25,00 per person hver vej.

The trip was everything we were hoping for and more. Javier is an excellent guide and a wealth of knowledge all things Panama and adventure. We saw and heard three separate troops of monkeys along the river, iguanas, bats, and lots of birds. The white water was incredible and had the adrenaline pumping through all the waves, drops, and maneuvers!!

Excellent rafting - beautiful to float down the river and the only way to see the jungle but also some real adrenaline inducing rapids. I’m experienced but it was my brother and nephews first time and we all enjoyed it. Compares very well with rafting I have done anywhere!

Rafting class IV rapids in the middle of the jungle was made possible by Javier and Adventures Panama. I also got to go canyoning with the company and cant wait to go on another adventure with them!

We had an amazing experience on the Mamoni River with Adventures Panama. This is not the lazy river ride at Disneyland so prepare yourself for a real wilderness experience. The water levels during our trip down the river made for a enjoyable trip with a couple really big rapids and a few others that were too dangerous to attempt. The guides were very experienced and checked out the rapids ahead of time to ensure no trees or other hazards were present before we took the boat down. A few places we had to walk around and over some really interesting rock formations in order to get around the more dangerous rapids. During the quiet stretches of the river we were able to spot lots of wildlife including, sloths, howler monkeys, egrets, heron's and caiman. There is no better way to see Panamanian wildlife than by rafting as there were no other people around as we were going down the river. Lunch was provided on the bank, sandwiches and snacks which was perfect (the bread didn't get wet). During one stop we were able to do some cliff jumping which was pretty fun. If you are looking for a fun physical day trip out of Panama city and want to see some wildlife in the process raft the Mamoni!

<p>A most amazing adventure. Javier picked us up at our hotel and we drove to the put in on the Mamoni River. We rode at least 2 dozen rapids, climbed around some dangerous ones and had a great lunch consisting of luncheon meat and cheeses so we could make our own plus fresh fruit to go with the lunches. After lunch we rafted several more rapids and were able to jump in the river and cool down all throughout this awesome trip... We saw monkeys, Toucans, lizards, bats and all kinds of jungle animals and of course the fauna and flora.... Check out Adventures Panama on Facebook for videos of many other rafters. When we return to Panama City, we will definitely do this rafting trip again. Thanks to Javier and his crew. They were top notch and wanted to ensure we had a safe but adventurous experience...</p>
