We had an outstanding experience on this tour, and everything was wonderful! Since we only had a short time before our cruise departure, efficiency was key. Excellent way to spend the day (1/2 the day) and great introduction to Greece’s most important historical sites. Antony perfectly balanced a lot of historical information with a great, fun personality. It was incredible what we were able to see and learn about in such a short time. We were picked up promptly at the port in a nice clean vehicle and driven to the various sights on our tour. Our guide was very friendly and explained much of the history behind the sights as we were dropped off (he didn’t accompany us on at any of the sights). Once we toured the various sights by ourselves, we would call and our guide would come to pick us up and take us to the next site. Our guide had pre-purchased tickets to the main attraction (the Acropolis) and we reimbursed those but you need to make sure you have cash as they must be paid in cash. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and expect large crowds everywhere.

From your own comments, it appears that everything went smoothly: you had no issues with our driver, our vehicle, our service, or the organization of the tour. As clearly explained on our website, our itinerary specifies that our driver accompanies you between the sites but does not enter the archaeological sites with you, as he is not an official licensed guide. The crowds, heat, traffic, and the amount of walking required at Athens' archaeological sites are also factors beyond our control and are not related to the service provided by our company. We truly appreciate your feedback, but we feel that the three-star rating does not reflect the experience you actually had with Athens Soul Travel. My cruise had a stop in Athens and I wasn’t really sure what to do. There were so many options that I didn’t want to miss anything that mattered to me, yet also wanted to see some thing’s I didn’t know about. My travel agent recommended Athens Soul Travel through Antonis… and that may have resulted in the best decision of my trip. Early on, he reached out to find out our interests and recommended some other things based on those interests. Best part, he has pre-planned excursions if you don’t know anything about Athens, but he can also scrap that and create a completely customized excursion based on your wants. Ultimately, we got an incredible unique experience that allowed us to see all the historical sites, try Greek wines, and dine on authentic Greek food. I highly recommend Antonis for any excursions you want to take in Athens.
