Designet med en fremragende kombination for dig at udforske det bedste af vidundere omkring vulkanen. Denne tur er til dem, der elsker vandreture og går gennem skoven i skoven. Den første aktivitet består af en naturstyret vandretur gennem stier i kombination med fjederbroer, hvor man kan opleve, hvad regnskoven er ovenfra og se masser af dyreliv. Efter vandreturet til det betagende vandfald, hvor du kan opdatere og svømme, venter den perfekte frokost på en lokal familieranch at vinde energi i sidste del ... vandretur rundt om vulkanen!

Bare rolig, det smider ikke lava mere, men det forlod helt sikkert lavastierne, hvor du vil gå rundt og være så tæt på denne kolossus, og alt det repræsenterer som regnskoven, dyrenes, kulturens, den fantastiske udsigt og fascinerende historie !
Ved de hængende broer vandrer du mens du kombinerer de fascinerende hængende broer med jordstigninger blandt regnskoven. En række hængende broer er forbundet i denne hyggelige park, så du kan gå på dem og være i stand til at observere, hvad den virkelige regnskov ser ud fra højderne ... Selv om du vil hænge i træpladerne, vil du kunne se meget dyreliv handling og fugle og lære af en anden livsstil fra højderne.
Du vil passere gennem dæmningen, der viser den åbne vej til den smukke og kæmpe Arenal Lake!
For at komme til vandets storslåede vand er en 20 minutters tur ned 500 trapper påkrævet, ikke panik! Er ikke så slemt, som det lyder ... du vil være med din guide med udsigt over den smukke canyon, der åbner foran dig, og du vil gå langsomt, i dit eget tempo, stol på mig, det er det værd! Når du når jorden, tag dig tid til at føle dig selv fordybet i naturen, og alt det, der repræsenterer dig, er den perfekte måde at slappe af, bare slip og tænk på andet end de øjeblikke du har. Gå ind i vandet, udforske, svømme og have en god tid, før du kommer op på samme spor ... men igen, langsomt! Ved vandfaldet har du 2 muligheder: 1. Gør vandret som beskrevet 2. Ophold på de vigtigste faciliteter, der er en restaurant at drikke, badeværelser og omklædningsrum og et hyggeligt observatorium, så du kan se ned til vandfaldet og vente på, at gruppen kan komme op og tage dig til at smage en bøde frokost!
Efter en dejlig vandretur og svømning ved vandfaldet vil La Familia Rodriguez vente på dig med den perfekte frokost til at genoprette energien! De vil servere en virkelig smagfuld traditionel frokost, kogt med lokal gård og økologiske ingredienser og give det kærlighedens touch for, hvad der vil være det bedste måltid, du vil have, mens du er i Costa Rica! Wow! This was an amazing full day tour. Isaac was our guide and he was so knowledgable on the animals. He taught us about the land, the history, and Costa Rican culture. This tour is great for anyone. The best part of the experience was the Waterfall. Do not be afraid of all of the steps up and down to see it. The steps are very well groomed and taken care of. There are handrails for older people who would like to make their way down, and it was shaded. It was not a difficult hike to see the waterfall, but was the best part of this experience!
Our guide Marvin was so great at both spotting wildlife and providing fascinating information about the Arenal volcano and the unique ecosystems of the area. He is especially great with kids and created several interactive mini lessons throughout our hike to keep our young ones engaged. He’s also a great photographer!
We had a wonderful experience with Rainforest Explorers, and overall everything was beautifully organized. Our guide, Francisco, was truly outstanding—patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout our tour. He helped us explore the La Fortuna area in the best possible way. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had requested a special surprise in advance, and although Ileana confirmed something would be arranged, nothing was prepared, which was quite disappointing and unexpected for us. Aside from that, we were highly satisfied with the tour.
Wow, where do I start? Rainforest Explorers is simply the best tour company we have ever worked with. We loved our customized half day tour of the Mistico Hanging Bridges followed by an authentic Costa Rican picnic lunch, and then another half day tour of Arenal Volcano followed by a walking tour in La Fortuna and lunch at the very best soda - La Casa de La Hormiga. The highlight of our experience was our guide, Francisco. He blew us away with his depth of knowledge of the geology, flora, and fauna of the region. We learned so much from him and can't imagine how different the experience would have been had we not had such a knowledgeable and experienced guide. We loved our time with Francisco and everyone associated with Rainforest Explorers and feel like we made new friends in Costa Rica! This family operated company is so customer service focused and provides you with the most memorable experiences that you will keep for a lifetime. I can't recommend them more highly!
Fran, Anita and Jorge were wonderful guides. They were polite, knowledgeable and easily able to communicate in Spanish and English. They offered fascinating insights into natural history, biology and Costa Rican history. The lunch served was incredible and the pace of the day's events were very manageable. It was a wonderful experience which we'll highly recommend to friends and family. Muchas gracias y pora vida!
What an amazing tour! It was a full day of hiking so be prepared but it is worth it! We had 3 kids ages 5, 10, and 11 and the guide was amazing with them! We started our day at Mistico bridges and there is no way we would’ve seen 20% of the animals without Isaac, our guide. He would find something and set up his scope and show us. He was so accommodating to our kids and answered every question a kid could have. We then went to La Fortuna waterfall, which was gorgeous. Then to their HQ for lunch that was prepared by the family there. It was SO good! After lunch, and coffee, we went to the volcano trails. There we hiked up and learned all about the volcano. Definitely book this tour with this company if you want to do these 3 things. It was such a fun day!
We were very fortunate to be matched up with Mau for this excursion. While I'm sure I would have enjoyed the Hanging Bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall and the lava flows without Mau, I would have missed so much and had not nearly the memorable experience I did with him. Mau and Johan were friendly and worked to provide us the best experience possible. We stopped several times along the road when fauna, especially sloths, were found, so we could get a better view. Mau consistently broke out his trusty monocular to allow us to get incredible views. And he would even take pictures on his phone through the monocular and sent them to us at the end of the trip. The Hanging Bridge excursion needs to be done with a guide, specifically a guide with the knowledge and dedication of Mau. Mau was able to point out several animals that I would have never seen without pointing them out. Several passerby stopped to hear him speak and get information during the trail. At each of our stops and en route to our next spot, Mau would tell us all about his country and the land as well as answer any questions we had. Also included with this excursion is a lunch stop at essentially a "soda" so you can try a typical casado (plate with meat or fish, rice and beans, piccadillo, plaintain and tortilla) which was one of the better meals we had. Do yourself a favor and book Mau or at least Rainforest Explorers to get the most out of your tour experience
What a wonderful experience! Our guide, Isaac, and driver, Edgardo, were both very professional and so knowledgeable. Isaac’s ability to spot wildlife was incredible! We saw so much more than we could have seen without his expertise. The lunch provided was an experience in itself! The traditional Costa Rican cuisine and was delicious. Even our hard to please teenagers were impressed. I highly recommend Rainforest Explorers!
Nice combination experience for a full day in Arenal. Tour guide was great and the lunch was fantastic . It rained during the hanging bridges but added to the rainforest effect !
We thoroughly enjoyed our combination tour of hanging bridges, Aernal Volcano and the waterfall. Edgar and Francisco were incredible. It was very clear they wanted us to have the best experience. I was a bit worried the tour would be too long for our kids but they were engaged the entire time. The breaks between activities with food recharged everyone’s batteries for the next tour. The pick up was so convenient. This was our favorite day of the trip.
