Parken ligger i en strategisk zone; en biologisk korridor Mistico Park-zonen er et af de bedste steder i Costa Rica til fugletittingsture. Denne beskyttede reserve på 600 ha er en biologisk korridor for vandrende arter og indfødte arter, erklæret en biologisk korridor, der er et migrationstrin for både forbigående og indfødte arter. Our guide was great However, as we came to understand there are no birds to see. We saw zero. There was another trail that Mistico no longer has access to

Our guides always put forth their best effort to locate wildlife active during the tour; however, as this is a natural environment with animals in the wild, sightings depend entirely on nature's own rhythm. Regarding the trail you mentioned, please be informed that it is currently undergoing preventive maintenance for safety reasons and is not enabled within our official routes at this time. The view of the volcano from the park is very good even though we don’t have the best weather the day we visited. The restaurant also had a good view.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, good at spotting the wildlife and ensuring we all had a good view and photos through his telescope. Some steep sections on the walk, but opportunities to take short cuts! Hanging bridges were fun!

Nice walk in a beautiful parc, a lots of birds a few lizards and loos of monkeys. The bridges are great . The only thing we miss was the water what should be included...

Guide was very good. Even in pouring rain, he still managed to find some unusual species (including a leafturner) and got me some lifers. He also found a cool viper snake we would have missed.

Too cute, nature and experience in walking on suspension bridges, mature forest, full of different types of epiphytic plants, silky and paratic plants

We chose the early birdwatching (6 am) at Mistico Park, and are considering doing it again on this trip. I believe our guide was Fernando. Tons of experience and so much knowledge! I consider myself an outdoorsman and he pointed out things (plants, ecology, animals, and environment) that we would never have seen on our own. The volume and variety of birds was incredible. Walking through untouched rain forest is other worldly. For enthusiasts, the 6 am trip is far less busy. It also gives you a chance to experience 6 of the hanging bridges at a time when there aren't many other visitors. Recommend bringing good binoculars, bug repellent, and downloading a good birding app like Merlin which is free and can identify birds by both picture and sounds.

Amazing wildlife and scenery. Our guide ALVARO ZÚÑIGA VARGAS was absolutely amazing. Saw monkeys, birds, and some snakes.

Showed up and they had no reservation for me. Because of that they had no guide. They offered for me to come back in 45 minutes and pay again. DONT BOOK.

Our Costa Rica walking tour was wonderfull. The ability of our guide Neifryn (+506 8458-0457) to spot wildlife was truely impressive. Between spotting and hearing the sounds of toucans, and many other birds, frogs, snakes, lizards and monkeys. He was amazing. We could have easily walked past 90% without his skills. The last skill that we greatly appreciated was the ability to snap incredible iPhone photos via his monoscope. A skill itself ;-)
