Fabulous tour! Our guide Tomas was great, very knowledgeable and entertaining. The lunch was amazing, everything was brilliant. Highly recommended.
Fantastic tour lots of free time and lots of information about Portuguese history. The suspension bridge was amazing and the walk was beautiful. Wear proper shoes and bring water. Would do again without hesitation.
Nicely packed day trip planned by our very friendly guide Ricardo! I loved how varied the experience was :) The only pity was spending such a short time in Costa Nova do Prado - would have been perfect just to have a few more minutes. But I understand that there's a schedule that needs be followed. A very good experience overall, would highly recommend!
Alternate day that is very rewarding. First over the suspension bridge and then a nice walk down. The local food on the excursion makes the day special
Juan, Costa to his friends, was a great guide. My 17 and 19-year-old children chatted about soccer and music between the different places we visited. Super knowledgeable, attentive, he knew how to handle an injury sustained by my wife with delicacy. The various sites visited are superb: the suspension bridge, the 652 steps in the park, the Venice of Portugal, the fishing village, and the typical Portuguese meal were beautiful experiences.
This was an amazing well organised trip from start to finish. The views from the suspension bridge and Paiver walkways were spectacular and the downhill 4K walk was well worth it. The sand dunes, beach and sea at Costa Nova were breathtaking and we wish we had had longer to explore and have a swim. Aveiro was very pretty and the gondola ride around the canals and town were both relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide Costa was outstanding, very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. He went out of his way to make sure this was a memorable experience, thank you Costa for a great day which we would highly recommend 😊
What an amazing time! The suspension bridge was fun, but the walkways are just beautiful by the river. We really enjoyed our day out! The only thing I would say that they could improve upon was the lunch options. The food just wasn’t that good, but we really enjoyed the company of our tour group and had a great day out! Highly recommend!
The bridge and walkway were fun and the guides were very friendly and accommodating. The lunch provided at a local restaurant was also tasty and filling. My one critic is that the tour dragged on a bit at the end with two trips to small towns for a few hours and we didn’t get back until 6pm, so in total about a 10-11 hour day. But I would still recommend the trip.
This was a great away to see smaller and bigger towns and attractions. Our guide Costa, was kind, funny and really understood how to “read the room” inserting great bits of knowledge with fun stories. Would definitely recommend!
I came on a trip solely with the expectation of adventure, and the truth is it was much more than that; the service was warm, I never felt alone, the feeling was like being at home, the places we visited were incredible. Experiencing the walkways of Pavía in such a beautiful environment and then culminating the trip at Costa Nova to see the Aveiro canal is one of the experiences I recommend living without a doubt.
