Når du går fra skibet, venter jeg på dig ved gate 5 på krydstogtterminalen. Herfra begynder vi vores rejse til Savoca, som vil vare cirka 1 time i bil
Når vi ankommer til kunstbyen Savoca, en lille landsby, hvor adskillige scener fra filmen "The Godfather" af Fred Francis Coppola blev optaget, stopper vi ved Vitelli-baren, der er berømt for at være baren i filmen, hvor den vil være muligt at smage en typisk siciliansk granita. Et andet stop på vores tur vil være kirken "Santa Maria in cielo Assunta", som vi også finder i nogle uddrag af filmen, såsom brylluppet mellem Michael Corleone og Apollonia.
Når du ankommer til Castelmola, kan du beundre en af de smukkeste landsbyer i Italien og smage mandelvin på den berømte Bar Turrisi, der er kendt for sine falliske udsmykninger. Disse symboler skal ikke betragtes som vulgære, men snarere som symboler på frugtbarhed, velstand og frihed ifølge den græske kulturs idéer. Du vil også have mulighed for at smage mandelvin og udsøgt siciliansk cannoli.
Det sidste stop på vores tur vil være Taormina. Vi ankommer til Piazza San Pancrazio, hvor rejsende vil lave deres tur og vil være i stand til at besøge de karakteristiske gader i Corso Umberto, beundre de smukke landskaber og gå til det græsk-romerske teater i Taormina (udgiften til entrébilletten er udelukket fra turens pris).
Når vores tur er slut, vender vi tilbage til Messina, men før vi tager dig til skibet, tager vi dig med på en rundtur i byens historiske centrum, hvor det vil være muligt at beundre nogle af de vigtigste attraktioner såsom panoramaet af Kristus Kongen, katedralen i Messina og den meget berømte ur-astronomiske mekaniker i vores by.

Mødestedet vil være ved krydstogtterminalen, ved udgangen af gate 5. Der vil jeg være, Fulvio, din chauffør, og vente på dig med et skilt med dit navn på. Når du er sammen, begynder din tur. Ture starter normalt kl. 8.00 og slutter kl. 16.00 afhængigt af skibets ankomst- og afgangstidspunkt.

Marisa and Fulvio, our guide and driver were phenomenal. Marisa was extremely knowledgable and shared so much information about each of the places we visited as well as the history of Sicily over many years. She was very bubbly and had a great sense of humour. We were treated to local wine and a cannolo during our visit to Castlemola. She brought Sicily to life for us, a truly special trip we will never forget. We would highly recommend this trip. We were picked up and dropped off at our cruise ship and well looked after throughout the day. Communication prior and during the trip was excellent.
We had an absolutely delightful 10/10 day with the wonderful Marisa! She was an excellent guide on all locations, offering us insight into the people, food, culture, language and sites of Sicily! Our group loved her casual style and laid-back approach as we navigated all the areas, yet left us time to shop, grab a drink, and fellowship together. WE APPRECIATE YOU MARISA! Great job!

We felt it was good value for money being a full day tour. We visited Savoca, Castelmola & Taormina as well as the town centre of Messina. The tour and organisation. Of the day was well thought out and a good mix of visiting all of the iconic and beautiful places as well as a little free time to explore. You cover a lot of ground in this tour. Coming into Messina you will have about a 1 hour drive to Savoca.

Fabrizio was the best tour guide I have ever had and I have been doing this a very long time! He went over and above the tour that was supposed to be! He was so informative and so willing to show us everything about the Messina area in Sicily! I would recommend him again and again ! Our tour with Fabrizio was the best tour we’ve ever had. He tailored it to our family and gave local advice that was priceless. He took us to Savoca, Taormina, and Castlemola. He showed us secret spots that most tours wouldn’t know about. We saw Catacombs, local churches, lookout points, with amazing views, and ruins. He recommended the best local restaurant and snacks. He made sure to take the scenic route and explain all of the local areas, legends and history. At the end, he bought us almond wine and cannolis. It was an amazing experience that our family will never forget 💕
The driver and guide met us right at the port. Communication as awesome. Our tour guide, Marissa, was AMAZING!!! She was fun, funny, accommodating, well spoken and an all-around perfect guide. Fulvio met us at each destination and was also a great guy. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this tour. The towns we visited were spectacular. My mother had mobility issues and they were even accommodating to those needs. Great tour!!
Fulvio and Aurora were our guides on this private tour for 7 of us. Every one of us enjoyed it very much. Both Fulvio and Aurora took the best care and explained things very well. The sites were amazing and with their expert guidance we were able to see everything we wanted to see. Fulvio is a precise driver and also full of knowledge with the best manner. Aurora was a delight to each one of us, personalizing information to our taste. Wish we had more time because we didn’t want it to end!!! Highly recommended 😀👍🏻‼️
