Privat afhentning: Start din dag med en sømløs, privat transfer direkte fra dit ophold i Comosøen eller Milano og nyd fascinerende udsigt over berømte byer som Varenna og Bellagio. UNESCO Red Train: Ombord på det spektakulære Bernina Red Train. Forbered dig på betagende panoramaer, mens toget klatrer over dramatiske viadukter og forbi gletsjere. Dette ingeniør mirakel leverer uforglemmelige alpine landskaber, stigende til St. Moritz. Alpine Glamour: Nyd ca. 2 timers fritid i denne glamourøse schweiziske feriested til udforskning og frokost. Scenic Return Drive: Dit private køretøj tager dig tilbage, krydser den fantastiske Maloja Pass. Turen starter fra Comosøen eller Milano, afhængigt af hvor din bolig er placeret. Vores private chauffør transfer vil afhente dig til at nå dit første stop: togstationen i Tirano. For at nå Tirano fra Milano passerer du ved siden af Como-søen, hvor verdensberømte byer ligger, som Varenna og Bellagio.

På togstationen i Tirano kommer du om bord på det røde tog Bernina. Det er ikke et simpelt tog, men en rigtig arena med udsigt over det fascinerende spektakel af naturen. Faktisk er Bernina-toget en UNESCO World Heritage Site! Fra toget kan du beundre det betagende landskab, der afslører sig gennem hele turen. Efter 2 1⁄2 timer, vil du nå St. Moritz.
Fra Tirano til St.Moritz løber du langs landsbyer, små landsbyer, floder, søer og gletsjere om bord på Bernina-toget, UNESCOs verdensarvsted.
Ospizio Bernina er det højeste punkt på den røde toglinje, som her når en højde på 2.253 m.
Når du er i centrum, mellem en skive Engadin valnødskage og en chokolade praline, kan du kombinere en velsmagende pause med en rolig gåtur for at opdage de mange modsætninger i denne overdådige og kosmopolitiske bjergby med sin alpine charme.
Søen St. Mortiz, som kan nås fra stationen via en bekvem underpass, er utvivlsomt højdepunktet på rejsen med Bernina-toget til landsbyen Engadine. Her kan du tage en tur langs vandrestien omkring søen eller blot nå St. Charles Kirke, som kan ses i det fjerne.
På vej tilbage fra St. Moritz med bil, krydser vi bjergpasset Maloja, en panoramavej nedsænket i skoven mellem de italienske og de schweiziske alper.
En smuk sø, der bruges meget til sport, såsom kitesurfing og windsurfing om sommeren. Om vinteren, når søen fryser, bruges den til cross country ski, vandrestier og kitesurfing på sne, med den berømte Engadin Skimarathon, der krydser søen hvert år.
Du vil have et kort besøg i Acquafraggia Waterfalls under din returrejse til dit overnatningssted (undtagen i weekenderne og i august). Acquafraggia vandfaldene, der ligger i nærheden af Chiavenna, er et betagende naturmonument. De har en storslået dobbelt kaskade på ca. 170 meter, så imponerende, at de endda blev nævnt af Leonardo da Vinci.

This was a great experience and the scenery was beautiful. Unfortunately, there had been a recent fire near the tracks and we were not able to ride the train the entire way, however, Giovanni immediately decided to drive us to the next station instead of sending us on the bus that the trains were using to move passengers to the next stop. Furthermore, he dos a great job of telling us about the history and taking us to “surprise” stops.

Wonderful experience from Start to finish. Giavanni our driver was professional, informative and fun. The drive to Tirano was diverse with scenic views of farms, wine vineyards, mountains, and towns along the route. A bonus experience was seeing the magical church in Tirano. Wonderful experience! Giavanni hand delivered us to the Red bernini train and made sure we boarded the correct train to St moritz. It was snowing in st moritz and Giavanni met us in the st moritz train station with a pair of women’s gloves for my Lady. Nice touch!! Giavanni also provided lunch recommendations in St Moritz, and coordinated our meeting place and time. Well done! The 2 hour plus train ride was amazing and picturesque. Fun to wrap around the mountain with lake and mountain views. Tons of pictures at different elevations and scenery. On the drive back to town, we stopped to take pictures of a beautiful waterfalls. Magnificent! Overall a fun adventure and journey from start to finish. 😀☝️

Definitely worth the day trip. So many amazing sites, bucket list views. Wife and I had a great time. Our personal driver Giovanni made it special. He was great, teaching us about the area and was a lot of fun on the ride.
