The tour was very well organized, and our guide, Veditalia, was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging throughout the trip. The coach was modern, comfortable, and equipped with excellent air conditioning, which was especially appreciated during the heat wave. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this tour.
Alex, our tour guide was amazing. The whole entire day was perfect. Wish we had more time at each place but still perfect. Alex and Christina were wonderful and let’s not forget about Max our amazing driver .
Salvatoree and Toni were great! Made sure everyone is safe and things went smoothly. Given it’s a very hot day, it would have been better if the AC in the bus was full on. It just felt like a fan. Would also be great if there was toilet in the bus. People should not be anxious about not drinking water in the heat so they don’t need to pee.
Dear Victor, Thank you so much for your review and for your kind words about Salvatore and Toni! We are thrilled to hear that they kept everyone safe and ensured the day went smoothly. Regarding the air conditioning, we would like to assure you that the system was fully functional. However, with the current record-breaking heatwaves affecting all of Europe, the perceived temperature inside a full vehicle can unfortunately feel different, especially when stepping in from the extreme outdoor heat. As for the onboard restroom, for day trips with short driving intervals—usually between 1 and 1.5 hours maximum—bus toilets are generally not required. Because the transfer times are brief, it is much more comfortable and hygienic for guests to utilize the widely available public and private restrooms at each tourist destination we reach. We completely agree that staying hydrated in this heat is a priority, and we hope this clarifies how the tour is structured. Thank you again for your valuable feedback! Best regards, Davide
Salvatore our guide was amazing, great recommendations and a positive energy! So beautiful to see the views at different places .
It was an amazing day, definitely worth the money :) Best experience of the trip: the boat ride :)
We had an amazing time. My friend and I booked this tour and we would 100% recommend it, we went to Como, Bellagio and Lugano and they were really beautiful. Also, the boat ride was really cool since you could see the villas and everything. Not only that, but also we had an amazing time with Salvatore and Toni, who made sure that everything was good and fun.
A very fun experience and a great value!
Make sure you get an experienced guide; as he couldn’t even tell us where the bathrooms were!!!. Lugano is NOT worth the hours in the bus and the 90 minute return. Horrible.
Dear Elline Callner, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify a few points regarding the structure and logistics of this itinerary to provide a clearer perspective. First, we would like to explain that Salvatore is a tour leader, not a licensed historical guide, which is a significant distinction. As specified in our product description, a tour leader's role is to coordinate the group's logistics and provide essential commentary. A major part of this 11-hour excursion consists of independent free time: specifically, 1.5 hours in Como, 2 hours in Bellagio, and 1 hour in Lugano. Because these are highly popular, well-equipped tourist destinations, public restrooms, cafes, and restaurants are widely available everywhere, making it very straightforward to locate a bathroom independently during your free time. Regarding Lugano, it is widely considered a beautiful and vibrant destination, offering a unique Swiss-Italian lakeside atmosphere that many of our guests thoroughly enjoy. To visit three distinct locations across two different countries in a single day, a certain amount of travel time is unavoidable. All of these driving times and the fast-paced nature of the itinerary are clearly specified in the tour description so that guests can manage their expectations before booking. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your personal expectations, but we hope this clarifies the actual dynamics of the tour. Best regards, Davide
This tour was terrible - Salvatore, our guide mostly spent the day rushing us from one location to the next, constantly telling us to “hurry up, faster”. He was not friendly, did nothing to help us when we needed a bathroom. In fact, gave us wrong directions to a bathroom. This is an expensive and very long tour and there were no built-in bathroom breaks in 11 hours of traveling - ridiculous. He didn’t tell us much about the locations. Too, too many people for one guide. Also, an extremely hot day and there was a charge for a simple bottle of water. We will not recommend this tour to anyone.
Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify a few points regarding the structure and logistics of this itinerary. First, a major part of this 11-hour day consists of free time: specifically, 1.5 hours in Como, 2 hours in Bellagio, and 1 hour in Lugano. Since you spend most of the day exploring independently at your own pace, it is difficult to understand how the staff could have rushed you during your free time. Furthermore, because these are highly popular tourist destinations, public restrooms, cafes, and restaurants are widely available everywhere, making it very straightforward to find a bathroom during these stops. We would also like to clarify that Salvatore is a tour leader, not a licensed tour guide, which is a significant distinction. As specified in our product description, a tour leader coordinates logistics and provides essential commentary on the bus, but is always happy to answer questions and share insights about the locations. Regarding the cost, at approximately €90-100, this tour is very competitively priced for the market, as it includes transportation, visits to Como, Lugano, and Bellagio, as well as a private boat cruise on Lake Como. Lastly, complimentary water is simply not included in the ticket price, but bottles can be purchased anywhere or directly on the bus for a very nominal fee. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations, but we hope this clarifies the actual dynamics of the tour. Best regards, Davide
If is a long day. The bus is comfortable and air conditioned, which we needed as it was very hot. Sonja waa very knowledgeable and friendly. She helped everyone. Enjoyed the boat cruise. Villas were amazing.
