Fantastisk tur til at besøge Panama fra Atlanterhavet til Stillehavet i en privat tur kun for din gruppe, vær ejer af din tid! I denne tur vil du navigere i en båd lige ved siden af de store skibe, der krydser Panama-kanalen, så vil du se det vilde liv i Gatun-søen (spot aber og dovendyr, kokodriler og mere). Besøg derefter den nyeste Locks Agua clara, et af moderne ingeniørvidundere. Smag den lokale mad i Shelter Bay Marina, og besøg endelig Fort San Lorenzo, en af de vigtigste havne fra Latinamerika for 400 år siden.

Denne tur starter med afhentning kl. 7 på dit hotel, vi når til Gamboa havn for at tage en båd og navigere langs den ikoniske Panama-kanal lige ved siden af de store skibe, der krydser Panamakanalen fra Atlanterhavet til Stillehavet. Vi vil beundre faunaen og vegetationen i den tropiske skov, såvel som Monkey Island, hvor du kan se dem i deres naturlige habitat.
Nu går vi tilbage til bilen og besøger de nyeste sluser - Agua Clara Locks, dette besøgscenter giver dig mulighed for at observere transitfartøjer fra et naturskønt udkigspunkt og lære første hånd om den nye Panamakanal, derudover kan du også se en dokumentar om historien og byggeriet af den nye kanal.
Smag på en lækker lokal frokost (fisk, rejer) i den smukke Shelter Bay ved siden af marinen. (Frokost ikke inkluderet i prisen omkring $25USD pp)
Til sidst tager vi for at opdage Fort San Lorenzo National Park, hvor vi kan besøge en afsidesliggende regnskov fuld af flora og fauna, efterfulgt af en tur til Fort San Lorenzo, et 400 år gammelt spansk fort på en naturskøn klippe med udsigt over Caribien. Her fortæller vi om de mange angreb fra pirater og kapere, der skete på et af de mest historisk vigtige steder i Panama.
Når vi er færdige med vores rundtur i fortet, vender vi tilbage til Panama City for hotelaflevering.

Great tour, it was amazing for anyone who wants to see the canal and go from Pacific to Atlantic and back while visiting Panama City.
The tour operator, San Blas Tours, completely forgot us! They did not contact us to confirm our pickup time and location as did other tour operators and our repeated attempts to message them went unanswered. On the day of the tour, nobody showed up at the appointed time of 7:00 a.m. to pick us up at our hotel, as promised. We tried in vain for over an hour to contact them by the telephone # provided at the time of booking. The # rang unanswered; and there was no reply to our text messages sent on the messaging contact platform provided at the time of booking. Luckily, through sheer persistence, the concierge at our hotel eventually found a Whatsapp # for them on the internet and was able to contact them to explain our plight. Only then did they seem to realize that they had customers waiting to be picked up for a tour. They apologized and offered us a "special lunch" or a 10% discount as compensation for the inconvenience. Finally, a driver arrived over an hour and a half after the appointed time. He was very apologetic but explained that he had suddenly been awakened to come and get us and, given the late start, had been stuck in Panama's legendary rush hour traffic. He was personable but was not much of a tour guide, simply getting us where we needed to go with very little voluntary information about the "tour". We had to be constantly asking him questions to get even the most basic information out of him. Boating through Gatun Lake and the Panama Canal alongside the big ships, visiting the Agua Clara locks and exploring Fort San Lorenzo were amazing experiences, but San Blas Tours needs to get their act together. Their handling of what was to be the most exciting part of our visit to Panama was grossly unprofessional and completely unacceptable!
