I had a 1-on-1 tour with Lampros. It was a 10/10! I learned all about the sites in Athens, from the Prison of Socrates to the first meteorological station in the world. I am not going to describe each aspect of the tour, you need to go for yourself. Especially meaningful was when I sat on a rock that Plato was known to sit and think on, overlooking the Agora, or when I stood at the podium where citizens stated their case in front of thousands. For a philosopher visiting Greece, this was exactly what I had hoped it would be. Lampros exudes the spirit of a philosopher in the best way. He hopes, like I do, that more people open themselves up to reflection, thinking, and learning. I could not recommend this more.
Whether you are a professional philosopher or an amateur, this guided tour is a special experience: a journey through the cradle of philosophy that Lampros enhances even more with his passion and expertise. It revolutionizes your mind and soul. 100% recommended for both experts and amateurs.
Thoughtful overview of the key Greek philosophers. Although the tour provides only a brief orientation to material that could take years to study, we found it useful to learn something about the philosophers who lived and used the famous archaeological sites in Athens .
I highly recommend this tour to get an overview of great ideas that started in Athens. A lot of information was provided in a very interesting and accessible way.
I joined the philosophical walking tour in Athens led by Lampros and it became one of the most thought-provoking experiences of my trip. As we walked the paths once taken by Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, our conversations about ancient wisdom naturally led to reflections on AI and the future of human reasoning. Lampros has a wonderful way of connecting timeless philosophical questions with today’s technological world. If you ever visit Athens, I highly recommend this tour. It’s a unique blend of history and reflection about the future of humanity and AI.
A wonderful tour that was engaging and thought-provoking. Lampros, our tour guide, was friendly and inspired. A lovely little jaunt through time and the human mind.
This wasn’t just a history lesson; it was a journey inward. We explored how reason, reflection, and awareness—core philosophical principles—can align with the tools of psychology to help us better understand and heal the self. By the end, I felt both intellectually enriched and emotionally renewed.
So fun, and learned so much! He is so highly intelligent with Philosophy and so calm and explains things in every day terms in English!
Great insights on the different schools of philosophy while “being there”… walking the same paths as Socrates, Platon and Aristotle's made our visit to Athens feel special. Time elapsed too quickly…
Great experience with our knowledgeable and very pleasent guide. It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot.
