★★★★★ **Third time – and we’d come back again!** What an outstanding experience. This was our THIRD time at Color Factory NYC – and honestly, that probably says it all. We absolutely LOVE this place. It’s colorful, creative, playful, slightly crazy and just pure FUN. From diving into the ball pit to dancing through Confetti Island and discovering Fortune Cookie City – we loved every single minute of it. It’s one of those rare places that brings out your inner child, no matter how old you are. And a very special shoutout to Percy, Paulina and Nijaye – you guys were THE COOLEST team and made an already amazing experience even better. Thank you for the energy, the laughs and the good vibes. NYC, we’ll be back! Color Factory, obviously we’ll be back too. 💜💚🩷💙🩵❤️

don’t trust positive reviews and photos; watching paint dry is more worth your time. the rooms other than the ball pit are uninteresting to children and the ball pit (for someone 5’2) goes up to your ankles especially around the slide. it took me about twenty minutes and sixty dollars to get one cookie and to laugh with my friend about how badly made and boring this “interactive art experience” is. just a quick summary of the rooms; in photos one of the funniest rooms looks like the Confetti Room but sadly barely any confetti comes from the ceiling and it just looks like a room full of torn paper. the Silent Disco Room was a cool concept but it only works if your kids are actually wants to participate. (there was not a single kid in the room who even knew the music) there was a room with Spinning Benches which i thought could be fun until i found out that the benches didn’t spin and just sat there..? you’ll find a “Choose Your Own Adventure/Color” Room that looks fun for a parent or an older child but in the actual rooms you can choose it looks like the creators of ‘Color Factory’ went to Lowe’s and just picked up any discount depressing paints. i am currently sitting in the seats next to the ball pit and i am trying to think of any other of the twelve rooms and i cant, all of them are so easy to forget and uninteresting that i cant even leave a bad review of them. if you want your children (and your wallet) anwant to suffer in a boring, stale, uncolorful, building, take them to a pediatrician’s clinic; the waiting rooms are more fun. (this is a copy paste from my google review, just want to warn more people.)

My advice: money is green, which is a color. Keep your green money in your pocket and don’t spend it at Color Factory. A color museum should have COLOR. This place was unbelievably shabby and unloved, the confetti room had no confetti, the color rooms were just painted empty dark closets the size of a mop and bucket. The whole thing could be done better in your own garage with three quarts of Sherwin-Williams paint and a roll of paper towels for confetti. The ball pit was only ankle deep in balls. I’m so embarrassed for Color Factory, I could make this place better in one long weekend with $100 and the help of three kids from a teenage art class. Collect colored objects from Goodwill, buy paint samples from Lowe’s! Let kids paint! Buy colored plastic magnets and some light tables! In such a creative city packed with broke art students, this place should be amazing. It could be a home for inventive uses of color and design, instead of a broken, shabby, color-free house of sad. Skip Color Factory and just go for a walk in amazing New York.

I would give Viator 1 star if I could. My sisters and I purchased three tickets through Viator for the Color Factory NYC for June 22 at 6:00 PM. We were driving from Cleveland, Ohio that day and realized we might not make it in time, so I started calling the Color Factory around 3:30 PM to see if we could reschedule. No one answered the phone or returned our calls. At 4:12 PM, I contacted Viator directly to ask about rescheduling. The representative told me they could not change our reservation and advised us to do our best to arrive for our scheduled 6:00 PM entry. We rushed to get there and arrived just before 6:00 PM, only to discover that the Color Factory closes at 6:00 PM. I immediately checked both Google and the Color Factory’s website, and both clearly listed the closing time as 6:00 PM. It made absolutely no sense that Viator was selling 6:00 PM tickets for an attraction that closes at that exact time. I contacted Viator again, confused about why that time slot was even available. The representative acknowledged the issue and told me I would receive a refund because the attraction was closed during the time Viator allowed us to book. Unfortunately, I never received the promised callback or the refund. I also reached out to the Color Factory directly via email, but they refused to refund the tickets. We spent over a hundred dollars on three tickets, rearranged our travel plans, and rushed through New York City only to arrive at a closed attraction because of an error in Viator’s booking system. The lack of follow-through after promising a refund has been incredibly frustrating. I would strongly caution others before booking through Viator. Double-check the attraction’s operating hours yourself, because the times offered through Viator may not actually be valid. I expected much better customer service and accountability.

Super fun experience and perfect activity with tweens (boys and girls). We went on a Saturday in the morning so it wasn't busy at all. No waiting or feeling rushed because people were waiting for us. We had plenty of time in each room. Favorite rooms were silent disco and the confetti room. Instagram friendly😊 you get the photos digitally (included in the price) after the visit. We spent about an hour in total.

Not much to say about the experience, it’s kid’s play and you can go with your children and spend some time. But expensive.. better go to a children’s playground

There is so much to do for kids and adults alike. The experience is unlike anything I have ever done! There are so many different rooms, each with different activities. Some of them have food, others have hands-on activities. If you are looking to create a fun, memorable experience with friends, family, or even by yourself, you should totally check it out!!

Good for kids 6 and under,a bit boring compared to other "experience museums", even doing all the exhibits it took ~30 min to do the whole thing. 2/3rds of the exhibits are "meh".

Truly a vibrant, interactive experience with immersive rooms, creative installations, and plenty of opportunities to take aesthetic pictures. Each exhibit is thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail. A very visually memorable experience start to finish. Very easy to live in the moment and take it all in
