House of Virgin Mary er stedet, hvor Mary muligvis har tilbragt sine sidste dage. Faktisk kan hun være kommet i området sammen med Saint John. Vores tur inkluderer Odeon, State Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius Monument, Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, Hadrian Temple, Latriens, Celsus Library, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theather og Arcadine (Harbour Road).
Gamle luksuriøse villaer, bygget i henhold til Hippodamian-planen, hvor veje gennemskærer hinanden i rette vinkler. Huse har tegninger, der viser gladiatorer, karikaturer og dyr og grafiti af navne på personer, digte og kærlighedserklæringer. Besøgene i Private House (såkaldt bordel, 'Terrace Houses') er et valgfrit besøg for en ekstra 25 ₺ / person, og din guide skal informeres inden hånden.
Efter frokost; vi fortsætter med besøget i Artemis-templet; som er et af de syv vidundere i antikken. Her vil der være god chance for at skyde fotos af St. John Church og Isa Bey-moskeen også fra den bedste vinkel.
En gammel landsby på bakkerne i Selcuk berømt for frugtsmagsvinproduktion og traditionelle huse. Det var engang beboet af 'Rum' (byzantinske grækere), som blev udvekslet med tyrkerne fra det græske fastland efter fredsaftalen efter den tyrkiske nationalkrig.

We had a great day trip to Ephesus with Huray as our guide. She was so lovely and made the history really interesting with her detailed but easy-to-follow explanations. We also liked that she showed us some local businesses along the way, which gave us a better feel for the area and its culture. The whole tour was well organised, and Huray was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions. We’d definitely recommend this tour!

1. This is not a private tour as advertised, but a small group tour 2. It states you can organise to go to terrace houses at Ephesus, but this was not actually possible 3. The tour of Ephesus archaeological park is rushed because you get to spend a lot of time with over-priced rug, oil, sweet sellers
