På vores eksklusive Pintxo-tur begiver vi os ud på en rejse gennem San Sebastians kulinariske perler, hvor vi udforsker nogle af byens fineste pintxo-barer. Vores tilgang afspejler de lokales, når vi krydser den gamle bydel og hengiver os til de gastronomiske skatte, hver bar har at byde på. Når vi vandrer gennem selve hjertet af San Sebastians historiske distrikt, laver vi fem karakteristiske stop, der hver præsenterer en unik pintxo-oplevelse. På hver bar smager vi en udsøgt pintxo, eftertænksomt parret med en supplerende drik. Valget af drink er skræddersyet til den særlige pintxo, lige fra den robuste smag af Rioja-vin til den sprøde charme af Txakoli, en dejlig lokal hvidvin eller endda den forfriskende pift af lokal æblecider. Vi begiver os ud på en dejlig rejse gennem de charmerende gader i San Sebastians historiske gamle bydel, hvor vi holder pause mellem hver liflig pintxo for at dykke ned i dets rige gobelin i dens historie. Vores vej vil føre os ad Calle 31 de Agosto, en gade, der fungerer som et gribende levn fra det gamle San Sebastián. Det var på netop denne færdselsåre, at et afgørende øjeblik i historien udspillede sig i 1813, da engelske og portugisiske styrker, allierede med de spanske, sejrede over de franske tropper, der havde haft herredømmet over byen. We had an amazing pintxo tour with Mateo. The food and wine selections were excellent, and we got to visit some fantastic local bars that we would never have found on our own. Our agency booked us a food tour with Matteo in the historic center of San Sebastián and it was just gorgeous. Matteo took us to some authentic bars where we would never have entered without him, making us discover really special places. We tasted amazing wines, including Txakoli and excellent Rioja wines, accompanied by delicious pintxos. Matteo was very competent, nice and passionate, making the experience even more enjoyable. A tour absolutely recommended for those who want to discover the true gastronomic side of San Sebastián!
