Wonderful way to explore the Valle di’Itria region! Well maintained e-bikes. Damiano was knowledgeable, as well as concerned for both our safety and comfort. We are active 59/62 year olds- and easily managed the 24 mile tour. The wine tasting and tour at i’Pastini made it very special. Highly recommend.
We rode 40 km (25 mi), mostly on scenic rural roads, from Martina Franca to Alberobello, stopping along the way for Damiano to explain some features of the landscape or history. He was considerate about the pace of our ride and paused or stopped before every roundabout to be sure that everyone was aware of our next stage in the journey. He invited us to ring our bells if we wanted to stop for a photo, which we did, and gave us 15 minutes in the center of Alberobello (which was mobbed with tour groups) before we moved on to ride more back roads toward Locorotondo. We might have enjoyed the chance to explore the less visited parts of Alberobello, but given the crowds, we were happy to move on. The winery was closed, so we visited a nearby farm restaurant instead; Damiano had informed us of the itinerary change ahead of time and gave us the opportunity to cancel, but we were happy to accept the change—and the lunch was a large and fabulous array of local delicacies based on the farm’s products. A surprise—and surprisingly long—thunderstorm extended our very enjoyable time with the other riders and Damiano, and prevented us from cycling back to Martina Franca, but the rivers and small lakes we witnessed when the restaurant chef drove us back to town were evidence that riding would have been unsafe, and we were grateful to Damiano for his care. We had a wonderful, memorable experience!
Great guide, great bike trip, interesting places. The wine tasting at the end was really well done and the wines themselves were great as well (ordered 14 cases).
Thank you! Ciao
Great experience, very nice manager and who helped us organize with a baby! Very good bikes. Recommend without hesitation
Thank you for a wonderful memories! Our guide was excellent. A great area for cycling. Beautiful country side
Lovely biked on perfect electronic bikes. What a beautiful area. Damiano was a fine guide. Had the socks in and that for 3 hours. Wine tasting at the end was a nice perk.
With some trepidation, eight of us of assorted ages set out under the expert supervision of Damiano, on our e-bike tour of Valle D'Itria. The early stop at I Pastini was not only interesting and fun, but also fuelled our resolve to continue. The bikes were new and of excellent quality, and the tour became a major talking point for the rest of our Puglia visit, and thereafter. Highly recommended.
We were a group of 5, 2 teenagers and 3 parent aged people. The tour took us on back roads through farms and past trulli. Very scenic. The stop in Albarobello was just long enough for us to know we needed to come back. The winery tour was great, with tours of the old trulli and a view of the wine production. We loved the ebikes... You never had to peddle hard, which was nice given the warmth of the day. This was an excellent tour and experience.
Thank you K. it was really a pleasure to guide your group!
