Denne store dag ud mod syd for Sydney blæser gennem Australiens ældste nationalpark, tager i spektakulære kystlandskaber langs Grand Pacific Drive, krydser Sea Cliff Bridge, klatrer derefter sandstenen for at vende tilbage via skovene og landbrugsarealer i de maleriske Southern Highlands. Nyd tætte og personlige oplevelser med ikoniske australske dyreliv, vidtstrakte udsigter over kystlandskabet, eukalyptusklædte dale og vandfald, der dykker over sandstensklipper, naturskønne kørsel gennem nationalparker og langs bugter, strande og landlige baggrunde, spisesteder ved stranden og vinsmagning i køligt klima. Oplevelsen begynder, når en venlig guide byder dig velkommen på mødestedet. Du vil være en del af en lille gruppe på højst 11 rejsende ombord i en behagelig minibus, der fører dig syd ud af byen langs strande i Botany Bay og gennem Royal National Park. Første stop er Bald Hill Lookout, et populært lanceringssted for hangglider og para-svæveflyvninger, som giver en vidunderlig udsigt over Illawarra-kysten og den berømte Sea Cliff Bridge. Efter pausen er det kun få minutters kørsel til den familiedrevne Symbio Wildlife Park, der er aktiv inden for koala-bevaring. Her finder du alt, hvad du nogensinde har ønsket at vide om disse fascinerende pungdyr under en privat koala-oplevelse med en keeper. Fastgør den ultimative selfie - bare dig og en koala. Du vil også være i stand til at fodre kenguruer og wallabies og komme tæt på andre oprindelige australske dyreliv. Derefter bugter du langs Grand Pacific Drive gennem Sea Cliff Bridge, mens den fejer ud over havet, godt væk fra de smuldrende klipper, som den gamle motorvej klamrede sig fast på. Du fortsætter med at følge den naturskønne kystlinje til en gylden strand, hvor du kan nyde frokosten på en café populær blandt de lokale med udsigt ud over havet. Tag dine svømmere til en dukkert, hvis solen er ude! Om eftermiddagen går du op gennem tempereret regnskov ind i det sydlige højland. En nem vandring fører til synspunkter, der tager ind i de spektakulære klodser i sandsten og høje vandfald i Morton National Park. Endelig kører du ad landeveje til en boutique-vingård for at prøve lokalt produceret, køligt klimavin, før du vender tilbage til Sydney. Ankomst tilbage ved Circular Quay er omkring 18.30.

Superb on all counts, great program, a full day of variety, from landscapes to wildlife, with a native Sydney experienced guide, who can engage on so many subjects from history to geography, culture, etc. A truly memorable addition to a short Sydney stay, well worth the full day !

What a wonderful day outside of Sydney. The wildlife part was the biggest highlight, I could have stayed there all day but there was so much more to see. Pro tip though: Bring a jacket!!! It was freezing at the waterfall. Definitely recommend this tour, as long as you bring a jacket.

Wonderful way to meet wildlife and get out of the city! After petting koalas and feeding kangaroos, I felt I had gotten my money’s worth but that was just the start. The day continued with beautiful views and so much information about Australia. Tony was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend to spend a day with Wildlife, Waterfalls, and Wine!

What a fabulous day wandering south of Sydney! Our local guide, Rob was simply the best. From local stories, to a on-time itinerary, with plenty of stops for photos… this was a great experience. We saw the coastline, we traveled winding roads up mountains, we saw local wildlife, beautiful gardens and farms, coastal cafe lunch, a stunning waterfall and finished with a wine tasting. Learned much about this beautiful place along the way! Rob is simply amazing and his enthusiasm for his home comes through all day!

This was a fantastic day trip that really gives a broad flavor of Australia! The wildlife experience was amazing! The animals were accessible and kept beautifully well! The drive to lunch was breathtaking! The waterfall hike was very accessible and the scenery beautiful….even in the rain! The wine tasting was beautiful and the wines were very tasty! The vineyard was fabulous! All done with time for dinner after the tour! Highly recommend!

Our host, Rowan, was excellent. We were given history and local facts that were of great interest to out whole group. The"zoo" amazed us. Hands on with the koala's , the wallaby's and kangaroos. Great lunch! The falls were obscured by clouds but interesting and the winery was fun. Great day! Highly recommend. It's a do over!

Great variety of activities, emphasizing areas south and west of Sydney not covered by many other tours. And I really enjoyed our guide!

I had a very detailed review done but it didn’t save so I’m not going to rewrite it all but it was great! Rohan was great and exceeded expectations. Amazing views, lunch swim, koala, kangaroo, waterfalls, wine! What’s not to love. Ended with 13,000 steps for the day. There is a changing space and shower if you want to swim. Would recommend to anyone visiting and very moderately priced for all you get!

I cannot say enough great things about our excursion with Local Travel Planner!! The wildlife, waterfalls and wine day tour was perfection! Our guides were super friendly and knowledgable and went above and beyond. They even had large umbrellas for us to use, should it start to rain, which it did. But that didn’t dampen our spirits which tells you how awesome the tour was!! We experienced so much in one day and it was the highlight of our trip down under.
