This was our 3rd time at Disney paris last time was 2014, so a lot had changed, on this occasion we stayed at the sequoia lodge which was dated but nice enough and is currently being updated, the new virtual cue system is awful and to book a table on the app we found everything fully booked so far in advance that we struggled to find anywhere, the McDonald's was a war zone literally people fighting and the food in the royal pub was dreadful and in all very overpriced and of very poor quality, 45 euros per person in the all you could eat buffets which was the same price in all buffets food was good but you dont always want 3 courses and for the 7 of us cost over £300 so to do that everyday would cost a fortune, some of the magic is still there! But unfortunately it was the start of the heatwave when we visited so lots of no shows in the parade and the castle show was terrible but the show of light was brilliant but very hard to find a good vantage point and now it seams that if you pay the money for quicker cues and better views this holiday would cost an absolute fortune and it wasn't cheap to start off with, would save my money and do florida TBH
I stayed at BeB hotel. Aside from the tiny bathroom, what shocked me is that you have to pick up the tickets from them when checking in. Once you check in, they do not allow you to store your luggage unless you pay €9 for the day. Shameful. At Disneyland, you even pay for the air you breathe. But the blame lies with those who have always fueled this market by paying more than the service received.
A magical place in every way with kind and available staff. Impeccable cleanliness and attentive to needs. Park suitable for people with disabilities as well. Excellent food, attentive security. We had fun and cannot wait to return
After a whole day in the park, with temperatures over 35 degrees, we were tired, overheated, and exhausted, including my 3-year-old daughter. After dinner, we treated ourselves to a simple medium beer each and were heading back to watch the evening show. My daughter was eating an ice cream and, to avoid getting her dress dirty, she was temporarily left in her underwear in the stroller. The dress was with us, and I would have put it back on her right after. We are talking about a three-year-old girl, not an adult. At the entrance, we were stopped, and three staff members intervened. Questions were raised about whether we had been drinking, and the overall tone made us feel as if we were under suspicion or had done something serious. No one clearly explained to us what the problem was. What left me most perplexed was that as soon as we showed the Newport Bay Hotel card, the attitude changed, and we were allowed to pass without further questions. I fully understand the need for security checks, but I do not accept being treated like a criminal for having had a beer during dinner or for having left my three-year-old daughter in her underwear for a few minutes while she ate ice cream on a hot evening. We were even told not to drink anymore inside the park, despite having simply consumed a medium beer during dinner and not having exhibited any disruptive or inappropriate behavior. I will keep the advice in mind for the future. However, after 12 hours in the sun, miles walked, lines, heat, a stroller, and a three-year-old girl full of energy, I still think that having a medium beer at dinner is not behavior that should be monitored, but rather a recognition of merit for parents.
This was the second time I visited the park. The first experience had been very positive: empathetic staff, an engaging atmosphere from start to finish, and despite the normal waits for such a large park, I felt good. That is exactly why I had decided to organize a second trip with my children, who are now older. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different. We spent two days in the park, and on both days, I found myself having to leave the lines because the attractions were breaking down. After waiting for up to forty minutes, we were forced to abandon the rides due to the unbearable heat, with no shade or umbrellas available. Moreover, there was no staff passing by with water for hydration, even though we were stuck in line under the sun. The staff also seemed less prepared linguistically: they limited themselves to English and, understandably, French. During my first visit, however, I found staff who were able to communicate in multiple languages, which made the experience much simpler and more enjoyable.
Wonderful moments with family Only downside was the wait at the attractions Very clean park
I think the rides are excellent, fast rides, in the dark rides, theme rides, adventure rides, most people can find rides that suit them. That i would give 5 stars. Cast members, the majority were great (especially those working at the rides) but i had to go to Customer Services 3 times in one day because my app wasnt working and it wasnt as easy as it should have been! I would still give 4 stars to the cast members. I think the actual park is stunning with the lakes and landscaping. What lets the whole experience down, the queues and the rides constantly breaking down, that's a 2 star. I shouldn't have to pay extra (which i did) to not wait so long! I didnt have time to see any shows, the parade or characters as my time was taken up queuing for the rides. I'm not sure how Disney can work around the queues who are already using Premier Access and single queues as current ideas, but I still went knowing this and overall I enjoyed the park and would return.
Dear Jane, Thank you for having visited the Disneyland Park, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with us! We are sorry to read that we could not meet all of your expectations regarding the official Disneyland Paris mobile app and attractions. Our goal is to make each visit as magical as possible. While we always do our best to operate each attraction as efficiently as possible, temporary closures can sometimes happen due to technical reasons or weather conditions. Your comments have been forwarded to the team for further review to identify areas of improvements. We really appreciate your positive comments regarding our great Cast Members. It sounds like experienced several excellent rides and admired the stunning landscapes. It would be wonderful, if we get to welcome you again in the future to exceed your expectations! Kind regards, Hayley Disneyland® Paris - Guest Experience Team
A negative experience: 1) Long lines of up to 90 minutes due to the opening and closing of attractions. In two days, it was not possible to go on the excursion due to the coaster at the Disney park. Adventure World was always closed for technical reasons. The staff in front of the attraction gave the same excuses every day without knowing the opening time of the attraction, which might start again ten minutes later. 2) Temporarily closed, but in reality, the Cars Road Trip attraction was never opened. 3) Random opening of the new 2026 Frozen Ever After attraction, creating astonishing lines to manage inside the castle, where in some rooms, there was no air. 4) The Disneyland Railroad attraction opened at 12, which was too late. 5) Prices for food inside the amusement park were outrageous. A 50-minute wait to see the Peter Pan attraction for just a few minutes. The same goes for the Aladdin's flying carpets attraction. We need to revisit the issue of passes because honestly, the ticket is not inexpensive.
We (2 adults, 2 kids - 15&7) had a wonderful two day stay - visiting both parks - one day (Friday) at the studios and one day (Saturday) at Disneyland. Saturday was noticeably busier!! Queues were much longer too. As we were limited on time, we opted to ‘pay as you go’ on some rides with wait times over 60 minutes, which worked out cheaper than paying for the premier access pass for the 4 of us, especially since our 7 year old couldn’t go on all the rides). Crush coaster and Thunder were by far our favourites, and the Tower of Terror for our 15 year old. Some rides were closed, one day and open the next. Others seemed under maintenance, but tbh, for two days we had plenty to go at, and missed a lot of the ones in Fantasyland so we could fit in shows and character meets. We don’t feel we missed out. The weather was perfect - day one was over cast but the Saturday was 26 degrees and any hotter would have been tough on the kids. We managed to find some shade at various points which offered some relief, but not all rides (especially in Disneyland) offer shelter. The park was immaculate, and the staff were brilliant. There was one guy stewarding at the splash of colour parade who clearly loves his job! It’s quite something what Disney pull off! We were very impressed. We stayed off site (about 20 min walk) and had no problems with access. We were lucky with the virtual cue system, but you have to be on it. We got to see Anna and Elsa, Ray (Starport) and Nick Wilde (Zootropolis). We were lucky enough to get Mickey but declined that due to attending the Lion King show (which is superb). Be warned, if you don’t book, people queue for 1-3 hours before to get a guaranteed seat on peak days, same with the Belle meet. We randomly met Snow White, Tinana, Aladdin, Captain Hook, captain Jack Sparrow and queued to meet Rafiki and Mando and Grogu, so consider ourselves extremely blessed for our first ever visit. We brought food in with us but did buy the iconic Mickey doughnut and pizza and tbh, I was expecting things to be overpriced, but they weren’t. We had ice creams from the Ice Cream Creamery on Main Street and that was just a fight as they’d just refilled the machine and even though it said don’t serve, the guy did and some we had to drink the ice creams rather than eat them! We didn’t hire a buggy for our 7 year old. We took our pre-scholar sling which did the job for the evening of the fireworks (she’s a small 7). We did the Mickey the Magician show which was brilliant, and attended the Splash of colour parade which was great! The fireworks were a real highlight though - we did not expect it to be as good as it was (just get there early if your bothered about filming it - some people were in place over an hour before and there were some very rude people who clearly care more about their insta worthy shot, than the enjoyment of others). The display, however, reminds you what Walt Disney started, from what started as one stroke of a pencil! Just brilliant!
Disneyland Paris is for europeans so you would think the language would be English but no its all in French , the shows , the ride dialogue , everything . Why the heck does disney continue to invest when this is a big problem for all except the french . We had one experience on star tours where 98% wanted it in english but the two french said no so its in french . Why not have half of star wars and half of tower of terror in english . Next problem was the queues . 60 to 90 mins was normal .. why because of the premier access costing around 16 euro each plus a massive amount of priority disabled . Never seen so many queuing at city hall for the disabled pass . Sure i saw a guy hiring disability chairs for the day which gives one chair and 6 followers priority access . On top of that disney paris has a strange policy of letting a single family member standing in a que and then let other members join . So long queues and next another big big problem , we had 15 breakdown on the rides we were queuing for over 3 days so you in a queue and then get a message broken down so please disperse .. Pathetic .. Disneyland is the same as 20 years ago ( my last visit as do orlando every two years ), the adventure park is a complete diaster and while the new frozen ride is good its not much better than the ride in orlando . Disney paris need to look a t the new harry potter theming in universal to see how its done . I suggest give paris a miss and go to orlando , complete diaster . Roll on universal united Kingdom where english and its priorities will be completely different . Avoid avoid avoid
