Afhængigt af vejr og tid på året kan vi simpelthen køre gennem Kalk Bay uden at stoppe, eller til tider stoppe ind på en cafe til en morgenkaffe eller tage en takeaway Fish & Chips til frokost ved havnen.
Vi kører gennem Simon's Town for at besøge Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, men nogle dage kan vi besøge Jubilee Square og Just Nuisance statuen på dage, hvor vi spiser frokost på en Simon's Town restaurant.
Vi besøger de vigtigste Boulders Beach Penguin Colony visning dæk inden for Taffelbjerget National Park, som et par tusinde afrikanske pingviner ringe hjem. En tur langs Willis Gå til hovedbadet er noget du vil gøre, og om sommeren er en svømmetur her fantastisk!
Vi kører ind i Cape of Good Hope-sektionen af Nationalparken Taffelbjerget undervejs til Cape Point, hvor fyrtårne er placeret. Vi går op til udsigtswebstederne og muligvis ned ad fyrtårnetes trail for at få en anden vinkel, hvis du er på tur. Hvis vi ikke går til fyrene, kan vi gå ud over Diaz Beach og så lader vi dig fortsætte mod Cape of Good Hope (45min) samtidig med at vi kører rundt for at hente dig i slutningen.
Selvom vi vil røre ved Cape of Good Hope 'korrekt' i Cape Point-området, kører vi til et par forskellige steder inden for Cape of Good Hope-sektionen af Nationalparken Tafelbjerge. Vi ser ud til større dyreliv her som Bontebok, Eland, Chacma Baboons og struds blandt andre.
Denne vej er en klassiker! Vi krydser normalt over Chapmans Peak Drive på vej tilbage til Cape Town efter en dag på Cape Peninsula, hvor udsigten over Noordhoek Beach og Hout Bay er fantastisk!

Mark has a wealth of knowledge and is a world-renowned conservationist; if I had more time, I would have done as many tours with him as possible! I cannot recommend this tour enough.
Very good experience. Got to see the penguins, which was nice. A lot of time on the Cape guide was very knowledgeable about plants and animals in the area which added a nice dimension.

I loved to walk with Mark, one of the owners of this special family business. We hiked the Lion’s Head early in the morning and he knows everything about hike and nature. We walked all around the mountain and saw all the views of Cape Town, during the hike. It’s was so amazing and lovely. Everybody has to hike this mountain. Mark took us to see the penguins and then for a walk along the shipwreck trail. The penguins are a must. The beach walk is beautiful and was totally deserted other than lots of interesting birds. Mark is a top class guide having worked in conservation and national parks for many years. He is also excellent company. Thoroughly recommended.
The experience was sensational! Justin knows a lot about the place, animals and nature. Super friendly. We walked through several places, different from most tours. I highly recommend it.
I found Mark online, read reviews and reached out to him. This family run business helped me put together the itinerary of peninsula tour and Lion's Head hike. Mark has years of experience in this field, and made our peninsula tour very successful. we were very impressed. Mark's wife Lindsay is kind and prompt in responding any communications. We also had their son Justin guiding us to Lion's Head Hike. Justin has a passion to nature and he explained things to us like 'detail oriented'. They are reasonably priced and flexible in payment options. We were really impressed by their passion to nature and knowledge of the local area. Kudos to Mark and family. I strongly recommend you connecting with him if you're considering vacation in Cape Town.
Mark is a great tour guide! It's so wonderful to have a private guide who's flexible and who notes what your passions are so they can customize your day. That's exactly how it was with Mark! We were on track to do all the standard Cape Peninsula activities until he recognized our sense of adventure and desire to avoid crowds. He then steered us to much more personally interesting hikes and activities. Thanks, Mark, for a great day on the Peninsula!
It was a nice, comfortable tour that allowed us to view all the beautiful highlights of the Cape Peninsula!
Did two day tours with Mark - no trekking as fitness not up to it at the moment! Had a lovely time, it's wonderful to be taken around beautiful Cape Town with a local who is passionate about their city. We covered so much including all the must sees! However as a marine biologist it was also great to be with a fellow conservationist who could tell me all about all the flora and fauna and not just the usual bog standard tour blurb (he did cover all that too though if that's what you want!) And as a solo traveller it's brilliant to find someone willing to take you on a private, custom made tour at a reasonable price. Thanks to Mark for putting up with me and to Lindsay for organising everything.
