Valencia Travels was recommended to us by friends so we enquired and chose them. Both them and our guide Guido were fantastic! We did the Mystic Journey - 2 day tour to Machu Picchu however needed it customised due to my older mother and her current mobility issues. We also wanted a couple of things added on like a visit to the Ollantaytambo Archeological Site, the fancier train on the way back and for myself to do the Classic 2B circuit with my mum and the Huayna Picchu 3B circuit. Guido was very patient and considerate with my mum always there to offer a helping hand. His knowledge of all the activities we did and sites we saw was thorough and told with a sense of respect and pride for his culture. Guido’s small gestures also didn’t go unnoticed like lending his guide book for my mum to read and his binoculars when she needed to rest while I went on site walks. He also made sure my mum made it to the exit of Machu Picchu safe while I went to start Huayna Picchu and came back and caught up with me to ensure I completed it safely and also received the final guided part of the lower section to the exit. Guido’s restaurant recommendations in Aguas Calientes were also good with our favourite being Full House, just down from our 4-star hotel, Hatun Inti Boutique. The only things I would note that were probably out of Valencia travel’s control was that 1) our room at this hotel and the facilities and staff were great but our balcony overlooked a large amount of heaped rubbish apparently from the construction of a government medical facility, if we had the option to select we would have preferred a river facing room or one that wasn’t directly in front of the rubbish, and lastly, the train that we paid extra for on the way back had it’s route to Poroy cut short and we had to take a bus back from Pachar to Cusco which wasn’t ideal and I assume not equal to the price we paid. Aside from those things we highly recommend Valencia Travel, and our guide Quido, and the both we give a big thank you for helping us tick Machu Picchu of our bucket lists!

Corina was our tour guide for day 1 and she was incredible, entertaining and knowledgeable, and always excited to share more about what we are seeing. We visited a number of sites on day 1 (Sacred Valley) and will update my review after Day 2 (Machu Picchu) though we have a different tour guide tomorrow so keep you posted!

Jose our guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable person of the Inca culture. He makes us feel welcome all the time and sure we were satisfied with everything. The high was a challenge for me but he was very attentive making sure I was feeling well. The food was great for me as I did not have any food restrictions however, some of my colleagues did and some restaurants such as Calle de en medio was not great and did not offer suitable options for the people with food restriction, that was totally out of Jose’s hands. Over all a great experience rich in culture, that leave me with the sense of wanting to come back.

Ruben our guide is an extremely experienced and efficient guide who goes out of his way to look after the group. Very knowledgeable, and entertaining. This made our Newmarket holiday very very enjoyable.

Nico you are the best of the best! Thank your for the excellent service. Your profound knowledge and passion for Peruvian history made our trip feel like a voyage through time. Any questions I had he would very knowledgeably answer them. And he is very well in tune with his spiritual side which was a plus for me. I will wholeheartedly recommend him in a heart beat!

My hubby and I had a wonderful time in Machupicchu and Valencia Tour went above and beyond, all I can say is that they exceeded our expectations, they are very professional and you feel that they are taking care of you all the time, always communications by WhatsApp and Aracely always had an answer to all our questions. Our Tour guide Maria Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and very helpful, she took us lots of pictures with her phone, breathtaking views, all we needed to do is relax and pose for the pictures, I’ll definitely make our reservations with Valencia Tour again, we loved it!!

Everything went very smoothly and on time, from pick ups from airport and hotel to drop offs and collections during tour days. Our guide Ruben was excellent and very well informed.

Claudio, our guide, looked after us to perfection, going above and beyond what you would expect. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Claudio Andes was excellent!!! His knowledge of the Secret valley and the walking tour in Machu Pichu was above and beyond!! Have never had anyone be so thorough!! He made sure we understood everything about where we were. I would record to anyone who comes or wants a tour in Peru, to request Claudio. I know we will recommend him to anyone we know! His demeanor was extremely professional and always asking how we were feeling. He really cares about his clients! He gives his heart and soul wherever we went! Thank goodness we had him!
