We took the train from Paris to Epernay as a day trip to visit 2 Champagne Houses, choosing Moet Chandon in the morning. Beautiful House, great history, and tasting!!! Our guide was so great, walking us through the caves, talking about champagne production, history of Moet Chandon, then walking us up for tasting in such a beautiful room!! Really a fantastic and informative tour, including telling us Moet Chandon has 46 km of caves!!

An excellent fun day! House of Moet started the day in style and that was followed by two other houses and tastings and a great lunch in between. Epernay is a very special place! Great day thanks to Stephane organizing the details and maintaining great communications. Yes…a great day!

My wife and I had a great experience visiting some major Champagne houses and cellars. Although this tour was a self-guided walking tour, we found it to be well organized and easy to follow. Each house had their own guide, and all we had to do was check in at the front after arriving. Everything was scheduled with ample time to enjoy each house (and lunch) before walking to the next location. A minor mixup at the restaurant was quickly and easily resolved by calling Stephane and him getting everything sorted out. Lunch was delicious and was definitely necessary to be able to enjoy more glasses of champagne in the afternoon! Great experience all around! A great way to experience the Champagne region and a little taste of a smaller French town.

We had a great time touring and tasting with Stephane and his friend Jean Paul. Being wine growers ourselves we are always skeptical of wine tours but this was very special and we were able to really connect with Stephane and Jean Paul and have our more in depth questions answered. The wines that we tasted were very special and unlike what you would be having at other houses, we tasted vintages from (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Stephane also gave us some recommendations for shops, bars, restaurants, and other things to do in Reims during the drive back. I would highly recommend this tour!

With a vast background in tourism and a passion for local champagne, Stephane is able to give you exactly what you are looking for: an honest visit to local producers without the marketing and branding layer you would easily feel when visiting a big champagne house. We had the unique experience of walking into a producer (Paul-Sadi champagne) who just presses the first batch of grapes after the harvest that started that day. This happens only during 7 days a year! Great experience, would recommend this to any visitor of the region who cares about the champagne making process.

Stephane picked us up at our apartment and drove us to a village in the Champagne district where we visited a small champagne producer. On the way he engaged us to explain some of the basics of champagne production and pointed out sights. Upon arrival he introduced us to the producer and we headed into the vineyard. We were fortunate to be there just before harvest so we were able to tase the two varieties of grapes and consider how they would taste in the bottle two years later. The producer did not speak English so Stephane translated. We then went into the facility where the producer showed us the entire process including how barrels are used to add character. The visit concluded with tasting the various champagnes he makes and the opportunity to purchase bottles at a great value.

I highly recommend this tour of a local (Reims) winemaker's cellar and the family's heritage of creating excellent champagne. My husband, daughter and I were given a private tour with a very detailed and interesting explanation of the champagne making process. We ended the tour with a tasting of some of the best champagne. And, the views of the valley and region were breathtaking - they even provided a rainbow for us on our way back to the town of Reims!

We did this tour in June during the World Cup and had a great time! We learned so much about the champagne making process and it was great to have such a small and interactive tour. The wine was great and we brought plenty home! Stephane was very knowledgeable and out together a great experience.
