En sip-and-stroll fortælling gå gennem Sydafrikas mest ikoniske vinmarker, besøger Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia og Buitenverwachting. Med eksklusiv adgang til private stier og nøgler til hemmelige porte tager denne tur dig bag den berømte Constantia-gardin. Du vil smage 10 vine, afslutte med en høstplade frokost og høre om stigningen og faldet af en af verdens mest berømte vine. Turen blev skabt af en førende rejsejournalist og fortæller historien om de fire vinproducenter, der har hjulpet med at forme Constantia Wine Valley i løbet af de sidste 330 år. De hjalp med at gøre Constantia vin til den mest eftertragtede vin i verden i 1700-tallet, ønsket af alle fra dronning Victoria og Marie Antoinette til Casanova og Napoleon. Besøg Sydafrikas ældste vinfarm og gå gennem dens vinmarker på en 1,5 timers løkke for at lære om vinproducenterne, der har hjulpet med at forme vinfarmen i løbet af de sidste 330 år. Smag 4 vine og besøg de historiske bygninger og kælderen.
Gå 45 minutter på private stier til en anden ikonisk vinfarm, Klein Constantia. Vi smager tre vine her, herunder Sydafrikas højest rangerede Vin de Constance. Vi besøger en historisk Kramat og en berømt gravsten, samt gå gennem vinmarkerne, mens du beundrer bjerg- og havudsigt.
Gå 30 minutter til Buitenverwachting, hvor vi smager 3 vine og nyder en høstplader frokost. Vi vil gå gennem vinmarkerne og nyde ejendommen af en af Cape Towns mest populære vinmarker, som også er hjemsted for et kaffebrød, delikatesser, designstudio og restaurant.

Don’t let a little rain put you off this truly wonderful experience. Matt from Natural Wanders made our time together enjoyable with his many stories from the area from our first glass of bubbles and sweet treat to our liquid sunshine glass of Vin De Constance and lovely lunch. A truly memorable day.

Had a great tour with Matt. He’s really fun, makes the history of Constantia come alive with story telling. Stunning scenery. If you are looking for loads of info about the wines it may not be the right tour for you. We thoroughly enjoyed the wines we tasted, and brought some back to the UK and also met some truly lovely South Africans who were just delightful. Picnic lunch at the last wine farm was perfect. It was a great way to spend one of the few sunny days we had!

We did the tour on 6th March - a surprisingly dull & cloudy day in Cape Town - but it turned out to be a perfect day over in Constantia - so never let the weather deter you. Just 4 of us were booked on the walk, led by Harleigh. The walk was informative, captivating, fun & engaging. The wine tastings were all excellent & the picnic at the end - OMG - divine ! I’ve wanted to do this tour for a few years now but it never worked out. I’m so glad that I finally did - highly recommended.
Geoff and Cedric made this walk and absolutly pleasurable journey! Geoff has a racontuer type storytelling manner, coupled with fine support from Cedric and their their joking, relaxed and friendly banter was interesting and most welcome from 9am in the morning until we finished after lunch time. The early morning small glass of perfectly chilled Steenberg splarking wine coupled with the unexpected but delicious and warm Pasteis de Nata, set the tone and standard of what was to follow. All of this made the wine tasting, a matter still of key importance to us - an easy, informative driven, yet fun event! Their knowledge of the region and the history was delightfully received, at times with wonder but mostly always with general intrigue from a learning point of view. Matt can very proud of these two gentlemen who made JC's 70th celebration an honestly most enjoyable experience- I just wish we had done this many times before with our fmailies - during the many and varied visits to the Mother City! we will most certainly be back to try out another such tour.
A great tour that is not like others. Fun walks through different vineyards, nice tastings, and great stories. Geoff was a great guide and we learned a lot about the area in a way that was never going to be possible but just driving up to the tasting rooms. I would recommend this for anyone who wants something unique and fun.
A wonderful experience enjoyed by our group of friends. Geoff made the history of the Cape come alive with his engaging snd humorous story telling. The wine tastings were wonderful and the lunch outstanding. Would highly recommend this tour for local and international groups!
Excellent guide with not only a wealth of knowledge, but also a very entertaining way of sharing it. Pleasant walk with a lovely refreshment surprise along the way. Definitely recommended.

Learning about the history of Constantia and how it evolved over the centuries was fascinating, Matt has thoroughly researched the interesting characters and their stories bring some magic to the tour. I highly recommend this walk as it covers so many aspects of how the Cape has evolved over the years.

Had an amazing, fun and insightful walk with Matt through the Constantia Vineyards. Learnt so much about the interesting and colourful characters who lived and worked on these beautiful farms. Matt is a raconteur of note with a great sense of humour. And it included delicious wine tastings and lunch! A day well spent and one I would highly recommend
