Hængebroerne består af en række hængebroer, der er ophængt højt over skovbunden, hvilket giver besøgende en betagende udsigt over det omkringliggende område. My family of five did the Three Combo Tour, and Carlos was amazing! He was wonderful with both the kids and the adults and kept the tour interesting, engaging, and fun for everyone. He moved at our pace and checked in with us throughout the day to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Carlos made the experience feel very personal and truly special. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting. Thank you, Carlos, for making such great memories for our family!
We had an absolutely amazing experience touring La Fortuna with Carlos! He took us to the hanging bridges where we saw so many incredible animals, including howler monkeys, toucans and colorful dart frogs. After that, we visited the volcano and enjoyed a beautiful hike up to an amazing viewpoint with breathtaking scenery. We then had a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch, which was the perfect break during the day. On the drive, Carlos even spotted a sloth on the side of the road and pulled over so we could get a close look and take photos — such an unforgettable moment! We finished the tour at the waterfall, which was absolutely stunning and so refreshing to swim under. Carlos was kind, knowledgeable, and hilarious throughout the entire day. He kept us entertained while also teaching us so much about the wildlife, nature, and culture of Costa Rica. I would highly recommend Carlos to anyone visiting La Fortuna, Costa Rica. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip!
This tour was the highlight of our trip. We did the volcanos , hanging bridges, and waterfall full day tour. We saw everything! If it wasnt for Carlos and his eagle vision I doubt we would have seen any wildlife. We saw toucans, monkeys, poison frogs, pit vipers, slothes, ant eaters, white hawks, (I’m sure I’m missing a lot). He was very informative and was a blast to be around for our full day tour. I would highly recommend Carlos to anyone. Our private tour with him was amazing!!
Carlos is an incredible tour guide. He is passionate, knowledgeable and very funny/entertaining. We regret not doing more of our tours with him. We saw things on his tour that we would have never seen on our own. Thanks again Carlos!
Carlos Bonilla of Costa Rica Rent A Guide was an exceptional guide and truly made our time in La Fortuna unforgettable. His knowledge of the local wildlife was incredible—he seemed to spot animals we never would have seen on our own, from hidden creatures in the trees to well-camouflaged species along the trails. Every outing felt like a special discovery because of his expertise and enthusiasm. Beyond his skills as a guide, Carlos was warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made us feel comfortable from the start and was always happy to answer questions and share insights about the area. He also provided us with very safe and comfortable transportation. We are a family of 4 and were traveling with another family of four. Carlos was a wonderful guide. He was enthusiastic and persistent in making sure we were able to view wildlife. He was also fun and patient with all of the kids. We would highly recommend Carlos as a guide!
Carlos spotted animals that were truly impossible to see without a scope. We have incredible pictures and videos of sloths, snakes, lizards, monkeys, and toucans. He was very fun and made every effort to help us see every animal he found. Incredible tour in La fortuna seeing so many different sites. You can’t miss this
Super fun night tour with Carlos. He made it super easy with a pick up and drop off at the Airbnb. 3 kids, 4 adults, no problem. And plenty of wildlife
If you’re going to La Fortuna, just book Carlos and move on. We spent the day with him doing a volcano hike, hanging bridges, and lunch with a group of 11 (5 adults, 6 kids)… and it was seamless. Not easy with that many people and kids. Carlos was great with the kids. Answered all their questions (and there were a lot), kept them engaged, and paced the day really well so nobody hit that wall. Before we started, he told us he’d make sure we saw at least 2 of our 4 requested animals. We saw: • Toucans • Monkeys • Sloths • Bats • Macaws • And a few other things I couldn’t name His eye for spotting wildlife is unreal. We would’ve walked right past most of it without him. He also used his telescope with our phones to get some incredible photos. The kind you don’t expect to walk away with. At one point we asked for a quick coffee stop… Carlos turned it into a coffee stop + toucan sighting + macaw sighting before the coffee was even ready. Just how he operates. What really stood out was his depth of knowledge. He knows the geology, Costa Rican history, and the economy in a way that actually makes it interesting. Didn’t feel scripted at all. He just knows his stuff. He drove us everywhere, picked a great lunch spot, handled timing, and made the whole day feel easy. Also… strong dad jokes. All day. Final Thought: Carlos isn’t just a guide. He’s Mr. La Fortuna. Knows everyone. Knows everything. Makes your day better. 10/10. Would book again without thinking twice.
