Syntagma er det centrale torv i Athen. Pladsen er opkaldt efter forfatningen, som Otto, den første konge af Grækenland, var forpligtet til at tildele efter en populær og militær opstand den 3. september 1843. We enjoyed our walking tour with Tassos. Interesting stories loved the hole in the wall places be took us and got to feel the vibe of being a local in a place I’d never been! I’m still full ! Great Greek pastries, olives and gyros ! Plus recipes for later !

This was a superb tour! Our guide, Tassos was so funny, knowledgeable and kind. The pace was perfect and we chatted all the way around. The food was delicious and plentiful with us tasting things and seeing streets and markets we’d never have ventured into or tried. This has been a wonderful four hours! Highly recommend

Tassos, our guide for the day, is extraordinary; he took the time to tell us the history of the city of Athens and took us on a journey through culinary history in an exceptional conviviality. He took the time to offer us several small gifts to thank us (something we had never seen before) 😍 Moreover, he accompanied us to the Acropolis site, which he was absolutely not obliged to do. Tassos was fantastic! He did a great job explaining the places, history, and the food. The value was also great, the food portions were much larger than other food tours we have done and we left the tour with bags of fruit, nuts, and olives. Would highly recommend!
