Christchurch Private Tour (Premium) Fuld dag

On May 12, 2026, our private premium tour in Christchurch became one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip, all because of our incredible guide, Elyana. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make the day special and personal for us. After asking what we had already seen around Christchurch, she realized we had already covered many of the standard tour stops. Instead of simply following the itinerary, she thoughtfully created an entirely new adventure tailored just for us — and it turned out to be unforgettable. Elyana suggested taking us to Akaroa, and the drive alone was breathtaking. The scenery was stunning, and her knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm made every moment enjoyable. Once there, we booked a boat tour to see the bottlenose dolphins, and the best surprise was that Elyana decided to join us. By then, she didn’t feel like just a tour guide anymore — she felt like a friend sharing an amazing day with us. We sat at the front of the boat watching for dolphins and penguins while taking in some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve ever seen. It was magical. Elyana made the experience so fun, relaxed, and memorable, and her genuine joy made the whole outing even better. After the boat tour, she took us to a wonderful Thai restaurant she recommended, and once again it was perfect. She joined us for lunch, and we spent the afternoon laughing and talking like old friends. It honestly became one of the best tours we have experienced anywhere in the world during our long travels. If you are lucky enough to have Elyana as your guide, you are in for an extraordinary experience. She is thoughtful, flexible, knowledgeable, warm, and truly passionate about creating unforgettable memories for her guests. We cannot recommend her highly enough — this was far more than a tour; it was a day we will remember forever.

My mother and I had a fantastic time exploring the best of Christchurch with Elyana. Our private tour guide (Elyana) was a delight and was extremely flexible anc easy to work with (pickup time and tour tweaks). The gondola/cable cars are definitely a highlight.

Elyana was the most warm and pleasant tour guide we had. The name itself was an enchanting one to hear. She drove me and my mom around in record time safely and smoothly to multiple places over the course of two days in Christchurch for our little mother-daughter vacation time in New Zealand away from India ! Elyana picked us up from our hotel in the morning and as soon as she entered the lobby, her bubbly presence put us at ease! She then drove us to Cave Rock/Tuawera where we had some comforting hot chocolate and chatted about family, academics and the certain pull that Asian cultures experience. She patiently waited while we walked along the beach and gazed at the magical blue water. From there, we picked up some food for she insisted so sweetly lest we starve on the hills haha and we then reached Akaroa! Such a beautiful French town with delicious local ice cream and clothing stores and chinaware! She booked me in for a 2 hour cruise where I luckily caught glimpses of little Penguins and Dolphins! Elyana took us on a little walk down the curve of the road where we shopped some souvenirs for dears ones back home :) We were done for the day but life is unpredictable and sometimes it can be a delightful surprise and what happened next was definitely one of those pleasant turn of events for Elyana spontaneously offered to take us around the next day as well! I am still grateful for it because that’s how I got to see Janet Frame’s, the infamous New Zealand author’s house located in Oamaru! If it wasn’t for her, it would have been impossible for me to find the place by myself so life can be kind and beautiful at times as well :) So on our second day together, we were able to visit Lake Lake tekapo and Punakaiki after getting mesmerised by the Alpine Lavender farm! Elyana helped us take pictures for my mother took to the lavenders so well! They were beautiful and the weather was warm and bright but super windy haha. Once we reached Oamaru, Elyana took a walk with me to explore the artistic town where we browsed through steampunk themed accessories and clothes and boots and what not! As we finally drove back to our hotel, we were sad to part just yet so we decided to go take a late night stroll in New Regent Street! That final walk was an aptly memorable end to our two days together for we spoke from the heart about how beautiful of a journey Elyana had taken us on, with a genuine heart and an open mind. All I wanted was for my mother to not feel alone or alienated in a country that is so foreign and unrelatable from the country she grew up in and Elyana made sure she felt at home with her affectionate presence and hearty laughs 💕

Despite the fact that it was on 25th December. Elyana did a very good job to surprise us with an exciting tour. We enjoyed it.

Jessica was absolutely great. She was friendly, professional and interested in what we wanted to do in sightseeing. Definitely would recommend and I would us her again.

I personally feel the host welcomed me warmly and showed the beauty of Christchurch itself. I love how the host ensure I feel safe and comfortable throughout my journey during the trip. The remarkable nature of New Zealand mades me want to go there again.

We had a fabulous day with Elyana. She tailored the itinerary according to our requirements, we visited a lovely town called Aoraki which was by the sea. The town had lots of great shops and lovely restaurants. We had lunch overlooking the water at Ma Maison, which I would highly recommend. We then traveled back to Christchurch, stopping on our way to see the sites. We visited the local beaches and had coffee at a cafe overlooking the sea. Elyana was a great source of knowledge and was really accommodating. We had a great day. I would highly recommend this tour.
