Voterede verdens bedste vin turné Begynd din dag med en varm velkomst fra din vincertificerede guide på (eller i nærheden af) dit Queenstown-indkvartering, før du tager afsted til Gibbstons vinregion, der er kendt for sine verdensklasse vingårde, passionerede vinproducenter og fremragende Pinot Noir. Dagens første stop er ved den ikoniske Gibbston Valley Winery. Gibbston Valley er en af regionens grundlæggere vingårde, og det er her, vi vil deltage på en guidet tur gennem New Zealands største underjordiske vingrotte og nyde smagsprøver af nogle af deres verdensberømte vine.
Kinross er vores andet stop og et fantastisk sted at prøve en række forskellige vine på tværs af flere etiketter. Ud over at producere deres egne vine vil deres kælderdørsvært også fremvise vine fra mindre producenter og dele deres utrolige historier om, hvordan de blev til. Efter din vinsmagning giver vi ekstra tid til at nyde frokosten. Kinross har en række lækre retter på menuen, herunder pizzaer, fade, mindre retter og hovedretter. Dette bestilles og betales direkte på dagen, hvilket giver dig fleksibiliteten til at bestille det, du gerne vil have baseret på din smag og dit budget.
Mt Rosa er en boutique-ejerdrevet vingård, og deres fantastiske beliggenhed ligger lige under det imponerende Nevis Bluff. Sidder i vinstokkene giver deres nybyggede kælderdørsbygning dig en sofistikeret kulisse til en lækker smagsmenu. Deres kælderdørsvært vil tage dig gennem forskellige varianter af deres single-label vine. Deres gløgg er et kundehøjdepunkt!
Vi afslutter vores smagsrejse ved vores fjerde stop Ayrburn, hvor du vil nyde en selvguidet vinflyvning i det charmerende gødningsrum eller udendørs (som afhænger af vejret), omgivet af smukke historiske grunde - en sandt Queenstown must-see destination.

Det centrale afhentningssted i Queenstown er Marmolada Cafe på Camp Street. Vi henter fra en række forskellige overnatningssteder og busstoppesteder. The wineries were excellent. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Thanks to our tour guide/driver Katy we had a great time. She was very considerate of our needs (it was so cold even with the alcohol). The tour company on enquiry and booking confirmed we would be going to Chard Farm, that is 6 of the people booking. Upon collection there were two additional people taking the group to 8. Shortly after collection we were advised by the guided that she had been told that morning we were not going to Chard Farm, she didn’t exactly know why. It thought it was due to an event at the winery. As would image the 6 of us were annoyed as we would have likely gone an alternative day. When we visited the winery two days later at an additional cost we were advised the tour operator had mislead us as we were informed they well know Chard Farm only do tasting groups of no greater than 6.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I’m sorry that you had a bad experience. From what you’ve described, this doesn’t sound like one of our tours, as we do not visit Chard Farm on any of our daily tours. Because of that, we’d appreciate the opportunity to look into this further and better understand what may have happened.
