I cannot overstate what a great experience this is. Our captain and crew provided a lifetime memory. Communication before the trip was clear and helpful; everyone involved was friendly and committed to a great time; and the ability to dock on the river at the end was very helpful. Thank you!

I do not recommend this company one bit. Our experience was sub par for many reasons. We were charged the wrong amount of passengers and when I asked for the list they had based on waivers, one persons name was listed 2x. They are refusing to refund me. I offered a group photo, rsvp list, I don’t know what other proof they need. On board the beverages that are usually cold were not. Warm white wine, yuck. I confirmed there would be rosé on board 2x during the booking process and alas, there was none. About 2 hours into the 3 hour ride, they went back and got some. It was warm, I should’ve expected that at this point. Several guests said the bartender was rude to them, I did not experience that but maybe because I footed the big tip. We pre ordered food and the order was incorrect. They book that through a 3rd party so it’s not all their fault but if they are facilitating an order, they should make sure the order is correct. During booking, gratuity is pre paid based on the total amount and I cringed when I saw a tip jar on the counter. Was ~$700 not enough? I guess the good news is the boat didn’t sink, so there’s the positive takeaway from the experience.

My group (11 people) had our boat tour at 3:00pm on 8/30/25. We were only in Chicago for the weekend so looked to pack in as many things as we could. This tour was our biggest regret. We were all very much looking forward to getting out on the lake, so you can imagine our disappointment when the first full hour on the boat was spent sitting and waiting at the mouth of the river for the lock to let us through. Once we did make it through, it was enjoyable for a bit, until we were told by an attendant that there were too many people on the front of the boat so my group had to go back inside (while all the others stayed up front in the open air). Inside was fine at first, until the group sitting next to us had a girl vomiting into the public trash can next to us, which they proceeded to just leave there for the remainder of the tour. To top it all off, we were expecting the tour to be 90 minutes, as stated everywhere on the description. We didn’t get back on land until a full 2.5 hours later so we completely missed our next reservation, which we were charged for. I understand it says it’s “approximately” 90 minutes on the website, but a full 150 minutes doesn’t come close to “approximately”. Don’t waste your time.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers controls the operation of the locks, and on this particular day, they were not functioning properly. This was a force majeure situation completely outside of our control, and we understand how frustrating the delay must have been during a short visit to Chicago. Regarding the situation with another guest becoming ill, we agree this could have been handled better. We are looking into how our crew can respond more promptly and appropriately in the future. Guest comfort and safety are extremely important to us, which is also why certain areas of the boat cannot become overcrowded, as our crew must follow Coast Guard safety requirements. As for the cruise duration, while our Skyline Cruise is advertised as approximately 90 minutes, extended delays caused by the lock system unfortunately made this particular cruise longer than planned. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused with your schedule. We always strive to deliver a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all of our guests, and we’re sorry that this cruise did not meet your expectations. Bought 2 tickets for this boat ride.If you want a private experience this ain't it. And keep on looking because you will be disappointed

This is definitely not a party cruise and despite the description, there was no island music playing. Just an old playlist from the 70s with 10 songs on it so you hear the same songs over and over. On top of that, it’s supposed to be a 90 minute tour. We’ve been on the boat for over 2 hours and 15 minutes and we’re still not docked. We had to cancel our dinner reservation because we’re going to miss it. Definitely not worth the money.
