They canceled a couple hours before it was supposed to start. I rescheduled for another night a week later. They cancelled it hours before it was supposed to start again. Wasted 2 nights I could have made other plans.
The description sounded really promising. We were a nice, international group from Singapore, Germany, Ireland and New Zealand, and our guide went out of our way to spread good vibes. Unfortunately, the actual experience had little to do with the event description. We were led to three nearly empty locations where only live music was played. Drink prices were disproportionately high. Nothing was felt of the announced VIP experience. It wasn’t until the fourth bar that some atmosphere arose – but by then the evening had largely gone on for us. Overall, unfortunately, the tour did not meet what was promised in the description. Therefore, I cannot recommend this event.
I was drinking alone in a bar and this group of pub crawlers came in and asked me if I wanted to join. Being alone in Thailand it’s not always easy to strike up conversations and meet new people, so i agreed. Had a lot of fun, some great conversations and even made plans to visit one of them later when I continue my journey. One of the highlights of my 2 months in Thailand! Also: great English speaking hosts which makes it easier
Went in January as a solo traveler and had a really fun night. I joined mostly to meet people as I was travelling alone, and oh boy, it was a great night — everyone was friendly and the guide made it easy to mix without it being weird. Good variety of bars, decent drink deals, and the pacing felt right. Would recommend if you’re in Chiang Mai and want an easy social night. I made some new friends that I hanged out with on the rest of my trip in Thailand.
The bar crawl guides were great! Warren and Sprite really took care of us and know how to get the party going. They show us all a good time and took care of us.
Man, what a night! The Chiang Mai pub crawl was easily the highlight of my trip. Big shoutout to our hosts Wolf, Sprite, and Cheryl, and for being absolute legends and keeping the energy high from the first bar to the last. Honestly a 5-star experience—I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!
