Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara Wat Chedi Luang, dette tempel er stedet for en enorm pagode, oprindeligt 280 meter høj, og som delvist blev ødelagt af et jordskælv i 1545. På et tidspunkt husede Wat Chedi Luang det ærbødige Emerlad Buddha-billede, der nu er nedfældet i Bangkoks Wat Phra Kaew. Et af Wat Chedi Luangs mest markante arkitektoniske træk er en storslået Naga-trappe, der pryder kapelens front.
Wat Doi Suthep Det er et enormt tempelkompleks med en visuel glæde, hver gang du vender dit hoved. Det er populært med turnébusserne, men vent på, at turen fortsætter og nyder. Giv dig selv masser af tid, og du bliver ikke skuffet.
Wat Pha Lat Dette tempel er den gamle forløber (lavere på bjerget) end Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Mens det er lidt mindre storslået, end det er yngre søskende, er det stejlt med historie, ærbødighed og fred. Det har en smuk udsigt over byen Chang Mai og er bygget på en vandløb med en række vandfald. Et fantastisk sted til meditation eller simpel refleksion. Gå!!
Tha Phae Gate Romantisk, smuk, fortryllende - disse er de tre ord, som jeg kunne opsummere oplever en af Chiang Mai's historiske porte - Tha Phae Gate. Da byen blev grundlagt af kong Mangrai i 1296 disse porte sammen med andre porte (Chang Puak, Chiang Mai, Pratu Soan Dok) beskytte den gamle by. Tha Phae porten ligger på den østlige del af byen og lavet af røde mursten sten

Great way to see the 3 temples if you are time poor and want to do it in comfort
This was a really great tour that I would absolutely recommend. My guide, Som, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and peaceful, somehow seeming to embody the soft spirit of the temples we visited. I learned a lot about Buddhism and Chiang Mai’s history while seeing some of its incredible architecture. The three temples we visited are all very different and impressive in their own way. Logistically, the tour was very smooth and operated with precision and great hospitality, as seems to be the norm in this great country.
It was a perfect itinerary for half day. Temples up the mountain were impressive. Our guide Ulala was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Transportation was great. Very comfortable and clean car.
I had a great time. Som, my guide, was so friendly and knowledgeable. She had answers to all my questions and made sure I got the most from the experience. Thank you!

We went on the Chiang Mai best city tour on our first full day in Thailand. Had an amazing morning touring of three major temples. The guide was very kind and gave a very good explanation of everything and did a phenomenal job of pointing out all the highlights. There was also a nice opportunity to shop near one of the wats and enjoy some local coffee which made the morning tour even more fun! Highly recommend!
