Vi er stolte af at være et højt etisk elefantfristed. Vores elefanter er blevet reddet fra uetiske parker og attraktioner, hvor de er blevet kædet, fanget og kørt. Her giver vi vores elefanter den kærlighed og omsorg, de har brug for, vedligeholdelse og opretholdelse af fredelige, respektfulde interaktioner mellem mennesker og dyr. Vi tillader vores elefanter at vandre frit i vores park, og vi står fast imod brugen af bur, kæder og elefant ridning. Vores etablissement ejes og administreres af Karen Hill-stammen, og vores Karen-guider og Mahouts (elefanter) giver indsigtsfulde indsigter i parken, elefanterne og den lokale historie.

Rejseplan
Du vil blive hentet fra din bolig mellem 7:30-8:00 om morgenen af din udpegede guide. Du vil blive kørt i ca. 1 time 30 minutter til Doi Inthanon Elephant Park. Undervejs stopper du på et lokalt marked for frisk mad, hvor du kan købe lokal frugt og tage morgenmad. I Elephant Sanctuary vil du blive hilst velkommen af medlemmer af Karen Hill-stammen og få traditionelle tøj at bære. Hver person vil blive forsynet med en pose med frugt og grøntsager til fodring af elefanter. Under oplevelsen kan du fodre og beundre vores majestætiske elefanter, før du deltager i en gåtur i junglen og bade i vandet med dem.
Dine eventyr vil fortsætte i eftermiddagen, mens du rejser til den smukke Mae Saphok Waterfall, hvor du vil nyde frokost med traditionel thailandsk mad ved vandet. Efter frokost, vil du påbegyndt et eventyr ned floden på bambus flåder til at absorbere det thailandske landskab og kultur.

We had a glorious day with the elephants, especially a mother with her four month old son… such a humbling and beautiful experience… finishing the afternoon with lunch by a waterfall and bamboo rafting was brilliant… highly recommended

The time we spent with the elephants was glorious… having a four month old baby boy elephant with his mother and another female was a beautiful and humbling experience. Lunch at the waterfall followed by bamboo rafting was a lovely way to spend an afternoon… highly recommended

We had a great time learning about the elephants and being with them in nature up close and personal, they had a baby elephant that was just adorable. After we enjoyed the waterfall and the rafting which I thought was the best part next to the baby elephant. What a full day full of different activities outside the city. I highly recommend. Out guides were great getting pictures for us as well.

Exceptional!! We had a crazy experience and encounter. Taxi is a great guide, we were just us for this activity. The raft ride and then the meeting with these 2 elephants and their 2 elephants. We see that they are well treated. A unique moment for me and my family. The lunch break and the preparation of Pad Thai is a plus that we highly appreciated.

It was a magical moment, with my friends we realized a dream. It was a moment suspended in time. We started with rafting and ended with beautiful waterfalls. But we really enjoyed seeing elephants so closely in a natural environment, being able to feed them, wash them and especially to see that they are well treated, it was a pure happiness. We had a great Cooper guide who took his time to explain things to us at each activity. A super friendly and smiling guide thank you to him. We highly recommend this activity.

We were picked up directly from our hotel, which was very convenient. Our guides were extremely friendly and pleasant. Everything was well organized and the day flew by. For lunch, there were several options to choose from. Definitely worth it if you are in Chiang Mai. Absolutely worth the money!
