GÖREME PANAROMA Første sted i turen er panoramaudsigt over Goreme. Du får information om historie, dannelse af Cappadocia, mens du ser eventyrskorne. Efter oplysningerne, fritid for fotografi.
Efter kørsel omkring 40 minutter, ankomst til Underground City. Denne underjordiske by blev for det første brugt af lokalbefolkningen som en naturlig dybfrysning, senere af de sene romere som et hus mod potentielle arabiske invasioner. Ihlara Canyon er 52 km. væk fra underjordisk by. Omkring 45 minutter senere vil du være i indgangen til Ihlara Valley. Ihlara Valley blev dannet af vulkaniske handlinger af Mt. Hasan, ved siden af Ihlara-dalen. Derefter er Melendiz-floden udslettet dalen i millioner af år foruden lagene revnede og faldt ned. Til sidst blev 80 meter dybe canyon komponeret. Hele dalen er 14 km. længde. Tidligere levede kristne generelt i de flere dele af dalen; også skåret de kirker og malede dem. Du vil vandre omkring 3,5 km. Vandring vil vare 1 time 15 m. YAPRAKHISAR PANAROMA Efter frokosten tager vores guide dig til et unikt sted, Yaprakhisar. Du vil se de bedste eksempler på koniske fairy skorstene. Da området ligner Star Wars Film Set, er Yaprakhisar kendt som "Star Wars Movie Set". SELIME MONASTRY Vores tur fortsætter med et andet film-set-lignende sted, Selime Monastery. Ved første blik ser klosteret ud som et slot, men huse, kirker, kapeller, soveværelser, opbevaringssteder og stor katedral beviser os, at det er et kloster. Du får information om klostret i Cappadocia.
PIGEON VALLEY Klatring til Selime kloster vil udstødge dig, sandsynligvis. Men indtil du kommer til Pigeon Valley, vil du have omkring 1 time at hvile. Også vores guide vil nævne nogle traditioner, kulturer og historier om Anatolien på vej. Ved ankomsten til Pigeon Valley vil duer møde dig på toppen af dalen. Duer har altid været vigtige for kappadokiske folk. Deres æg og dråber blev brugt til forskellige formål. Af den grund skåret de lokale folk huse til dem til dalens skråninger. Det sidste sted i turen vil være et besøg på onyxfabrikken i Uchisar. Onyx er en vulkansk sten, som har forskellige farver og indeholder forskellige mineraler. Som værende et vulkansk område har Kappadokien nogle onyxaflejringer. På fabrikken vil en mester give dig information om trinene i onyxformning, og du vil se et formningsshow. 17:30 Din tur slutter, og du bliver droppet til dit hotel.

The trip was an incredible experience. It was very educational, and I loved learning about the history, heritage, and culture while taking in the stunning scenery. Every stop was well worth visiting and made for a memorable day. A real highlight of the tour was our guide, Marvelous. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. Her passion for the places we visited and the stories she shared made the experience even more special. We booked a tour that specifically stated Derinkuyu, the Ihlara Valley including lunch by the river and an air conditioned van. What we got was a trip to Kaymakli underground city in a not very air conditioned van, a brisk walk through Ihlara valley (with a guide who smoked and talked on the phone most of the time whose English was marginal), lunch under a pavilion miles from the river. In the fine print it said we would see an onyx making demonstration, instead we saw a jewelry demonstration at a jewelry store. The good: Kaymakli was nice, lunch was good, and the Ihlara valley was beautiful. We did stop at a location where the guide gave us a little bit of history and then we were allowed to explore. That was probably the highlight of the trip where we got to look in the caves. At the end of a long day the van made another stop at another store where we were pressured to buy souvenirs.
Our guide was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are planning to do an underground tour, make sure your knees and back can handle all the steps and narrow passages. Even though it was extremely difficult underground, it was still worth every pain and ache. The lunch was very nice and all the other stops during the tour was wonderful. However, we did not like it when we made 2 stops (jewelry shop and Turkish delight shop). We felt pressured to make purchases as the employees in these shops followed us the whole time and tried to sell something to us. To stop at shops is not what we signed up for.
Beautiful experience I would like to revisit this place once more. We had a great time with my family and will come back in the near future

Our tour guide Oyzon was very informative and took us through every little detail about this hidden gem which I recommend every one to see.I would not recommend for people with low vision, physical impairments as you have to bend over to crawl through the dark tunnels.

The tour was nice. Our tour guide Berk was great. We especially liked the Ihlara Valley. Dont sit in the back of the vans though, very hot.
