The walk along the Danube with the city illuminated is beautiful; one enjoys magnificent views accompanied by music, which makes the walk more pleasant.
Champagne is provided when you enter the boat. There is not a “guide” explaining what you see but if you are familiar with Budapest, this is not a deal breaker. The boat ride was about 1 hour and the city lights are breathtaking. I appreciate this cruise did not have loud obnoxious music which detracts from the overall experience.
Lovely experience in Budapest: the boat sails slower than others, making the experience more peaceful and beautiful!!
It was ok. Very packed, too many people on board. I kept getting pushed on my chair. The welcome drink wasn’t very pleasant. Should have booked a smaller cruise with commentary.
The boat was comfortable, we chose the welcome drink option, but there was some mistake and we ended up winning the dinner (goulash and langos), which were very tasty. There was live music, very friendly (more friendly than the waiters). Only it wasn't better because, in reality, as this time of year (we went in May), nightfall later, it ended up not being a night cruise
Rip-off, an Aperol cost almost double. After I inquired whether the tip was included, I was told no. But it was inside.

Dear Viator Support and Hungária Koncert Team, I am writing to request a full refund for our Budapest Evening Cruise booked for Friday, May 29, 2026, at 9:30 PM (Booking Reference: 1403752755). Due to gross incompetence, severe misdirection, and rude behavior by your on-site staff, my partner and I were completely denied boarding and left deeply victimized on our very last night in Budapest. We arrived early and lined up at the correct location, Akadémia Dock 2, at 9:20 PM as explicitly instructed on our ticket. While in line, a female staff member approached us, checked our ticket, and insisted that we were in the wrong line. She forced us to leave our spot and directed us to another area. When we moved to the second location, another female staff member there looked at our ticket and claimed that this was not our boat either. Even though I explicitly pointed out that our ticket clearly stated "Dock 2", she refused to listen and firmly directed us to Dock 1. We followed her instructions and waited in line at Dock 1. However, when we reached the front of the line, the staff there told us that this was the wrong boat and that we belonged back at Dock 2. By the time we rushed back to Dock 2 and explained the situation, the staff member who had initially misdirected us flatly denied her mistake and claimed she never said such a thing. Instead of helping us board the cruise we had rightfully paid for, the staff told us that we could not get on the boat and that we had to write an email to request a refund. They then tried to force us to buy new tickets on the spot to be allowed on board. They even suggested that we pay the price difference to upgrade to an unlimited drinks option, but they ultimately refused to let us board at all. I explicitly explained to them that it was our last day in Budapest, we had budgeted our money accordingly, and we did not have the extra funds to pay twice for the same tour. Despite this, we were left behind on the pier. We paid for a service that we were actively prevented from using solely due to the conflicting and incorrect instructions given by your own employees. This completely ruined our final evening in the city. I demand a full refund for this booking immediately. I expect a prompt response regarding the actions that will be taken concerning the staff at the pier and the processing of our refund. Sincerely, Sercan Uslu

The views were incredible. A beautiful city. Great service on board. It's a great way to get to know the city. This city had so much history and it is worth learning about it.
Night cruise tour was awesome. Much recommended to everyone. Cruise was big and comfortable. We enjoyed that experience.
The evening prosecco cruise is a wonderful and enjoyable way to see the skyline and river views of Buda and Pest. The staff is very friendly and service is prompt. Just be aware that this particular river cruise boat is not visible from shore as it sits behind a large river cruise boat. And you must board through the first boat to get to the correct boat. The process and where to queue are not well marked and it is quite chaotic with many people and large groups all boarding at the same time on two boats.
