Beskrivelse
Den aktive vulkan Bromo sidder i et måneskibsområde af mytiske proportioner og herlig charme. Vulkanen og dens omgivelser byder på fantastiske seværdigheder. Det står i et grå-grå asfalt vulkansk Sand Sea, omgivet af kraterets kæmpe klipper. Det danner et månelignende landskab. Mens savannen - flaske grønne i regnsæsonen og guldlig øverst i den tørre sæson - grænser Bromo mod syd. Mt. Bromo - 2392 m høj - er en af tre vulkaner i en gammel caldera, der strækker sig 10 km over. Kun Mt. Bromos kegle er aktiv. Mt. Semeru er Java's højeste top - 3676 m - og blomstre bag Mt. Bromo, når han står ved synspunktet Penanjakan nord for Mt. Brom. Semeru er også en aktiv vulkan og smider asken hvert 20. minut. Når Bromos krater også ryger, er udsigten bare sublim.

En jeep vil hente dig på din bolig i Malang mellem kl. 00:00 og 00:30. Om 2 til 3 timer kommer du til Mount Penanjakan. Da det er mellem 0 og 10 ° C, venter en lokal varm snack med varm kaffe eller te på dig. Når solen er ved at stige, kan du vælge dit sted. Fra din tidlige morgen drink til udsigten er kun en 100m-gåtur. Vejrforholdene og vulkanens aktivitet bestemmer dine morgenudsigter, men udsigten over dette månelignende landskab er altid spektakulært, når solen stiger.
Efter solopgang - omkring kl. 06.00 - er det vulkanske sorte Sand Sea næste. Dette Sea of Sand omgiver delvis Mount Bromo og er farvet grå-sort. Mange små floder krydser dette Sand Sea. Du kan få din morgenmad lige et sted i dette hav og nyd dine fantastiske omgivelser, før du fortsætter til parkeringspladsen nær Poten Luhur tempel.
Luhur Poten tempel er et hinduistisk tempel beliggende inden for Sandens Hav, der omgiver Mount Bromo. Dette tempel er stadig aktivt i brug. Når ceremonier holdes, er du fri til at se. Ellers er templet lukket, men det er helt sikkert et fantastisk syn i Sandens Hav. Jeepen vil parkere nær dette tempel for at starte din vandretur til kraterbanen af den aktive vulkan, Bromo.
Det er så en 45 minutters gang til toppen af Mount Bromo. Hvis du ikke har lyst til at gå, kan du leje en hest. Glem ikke at stoppe med at gå hver nu og da. Kig over dine skuldre, da synspunkterne fortsætter med at ændre sig. Mount Bromo er en aktiv vulkan i en gammel caldera med en bredde på 10 km. Det gråagtige hav af sand og savannen - flaske grønne i regntiden - omgiver Bromo.
En gang tilbage i bilen fortsætter du til savanna lige bag Mount Bromo, også kaldet Tengger Caldera. Ifølge historien plejede savannen at være en stor kratersø. Det tørrede op og dannede en række forskellige sten- og sandstrukturer. Savannen er nu stort fladt land med buske og nogle bakker, blandt hvilke man kan finde Teletubbies-bakkerne. Afhængig af sæsonen er savannen en meget grøn savanna eller et guldligt felt.
På vej tilbage til Malang kan du besøge Pelangi vandfald. Efter savannen er det en kort køretur at nå parkeringspladsen af vandfaldet. Så er det en 30 min vandretur ned ad bakken. Pelangi betyder regnbue. Når solen skinner, kan man se en regnbue over vandfaldet.
Jago-templet er lille og bygget mellem 1275 og 1300. Det menes at være begravelsesstedet til kong Wisnuwardhana, den fjerde konge i Singosari-rige. Fra Pelangi vandfald til Jago tempel tager omkring 30 min. Din tilbagevenden tid i Malang afhænger af det tidspunkt, du bruger på de mange genstande på vej tilbage til Malang. I booked my Mount Bromo trip through Shelter Hostel Malang, not only was it easy and convenient to book with them but the staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. I was also able to book my train ticket through the hostel which was a plus! The hostel itself is also very nice with great food and comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

This tour was spectacular, I did it twice as the first one touched us one cloudy day and we could not see anything and the second, two days later, was wonderful and worth all. What beautiful views you have from the viewpoint and then walk through the crater of the Brome listening to its roars, unforgettable. Just look at the weather forecast to make sure it’s not all covered and if you can avoid a better weekend as that’s when more people visit these places. Also from Malang take another excursion to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, very beautiful and the funny thing is that you go down a waterfall to reach the Ace Waterfall. And from Banyuwangi, take the tour to Kawa Ijen to see the blue lava, the climb to this place was challenging but paid for everything with the views and experience up there. Excellent company was a success to go with Smartine Indonesia Travel, all excursions included, roundtrip transportation, water and breakfast.

We had A very good time visiting Madakaripura waterfall and Bromo. Due to private circumstances unfortunately no IJen. Our guide and taxi driver Dodo was polite, helpfull and A very good guide. Drop at harbor for Bali was welk planned.
Had a great time! We had the Malang- Bromo tour, with Bali drop-off. Everything went well and just like the time schedule. They choosed what was the best for us to do and they did great! Thanks to Adit our tour guide, he was the best!! He made our time 100 times better :) And ofcourse Johan our driver, he did great to bring us safe everywhere. They where the nicest people! Really recommend this tour if you want to go to Bali from Malang in one day and have a daytrip to Bromo also! (Good breakfast included by the way ;))
This requires some condition. The tour consists of 2 parts. Sunrise on a hilltop and a visit to the crater bromo. You have to get out of bed early before sunrise. The view is nice but not so spectacular to get up early. Front best style walk after the 4 wheel drive. Visit to the Bromo crater requires condition because of the style long staircase but also the climb to the stairs. You can rent a horse for 200,000 rupiah. View of the crater is impressive as are the sulfur fumes

But mostly people choose the sunrise so they can do the sharing trip and get the cheaper price like you did. Depart early for teh sunrise is necessary because the view point is crowded. If you depart later, it's gonna be traffic in the view point and you will be late for the sunrise. You also need to have your spot to wait for the sunrise and it will be difficult to find a good spot when everything is already full. Awesome day getting picked up at 12:30am and going until 12pm. The sunrise was an amazing start to the day and getting up close to the crater is a must do not to mention all the stops in between. Looks like another world at the top! Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
