Andrea was a great guide! He reached out before the tour and asked us for our interests and then catered the tour to fit our requested stops. His knowledge of Bologna was amazing. We had a great time learning about all the history this unique city had to offer.

Comprehensive tour of Bologna city center. Jonathan is extremely proud of his city and is very knowledgeable.
My tour was for 4 hours and was with Jonathan, a local from Bologna. He was very passionate about sharing the history of his city, and he answered all of my questions. He gave me suggestions on where to eat and buy souvenirs, and they were all helpful! A great tour overall and a great experience!
Jonathan was an exceptional guide in every way. During the tour, we saw key sites in the historic Bologna district. His tour introduced both history but also current events. He taught us about cultural icons of the region and then educated us on the legendary cuisine of Bologna. By the end of the tour, we felt like we were ready to go back and "get lost" as Jonathan says. We took his advice on future explorations including restaurants and attractions, including the amazing walk to San Luca Basilica. We can't recommend Jonathan enough. He is outstanding at his profession and a wonderful person to spend the afternoon with.

The tour we did today with Johnathan of Bologna was excellent. It was interesting informative and really enjoyable. We learnt so much about Bologna and Emilia -Romagna region. He took us to many places we would not have found by ourselves. He gave us lots of tips for places to go and places to avoid. Johnathan’s before and after tour service was impeccable as he provided lots of information. I would highly recommend Johnathan to anyone who would like a genuine and informative tour by a passionate and friendly local. Learning about Bologna University was a highlight and we loved the history Johnathan shared with us. His local knowledge of food and wine in Bologna was outstanding. Ramona was a lovely guide that understood very well the type of tour I wanted. Saw all the main sites but wasn’t overloaded with facts which can sometimes be fastidious. Went to university art locations which was of great interest to me. Caught a bus to San Luca and walked back down the hill. Just a relaxed pleasant introduction to Bologna. Ramona is a very clever and learned person and has a great knowledge of art. She can speak Spanish, French and English proficiently. Brava and thank you Ramona.
