Vi mødes på 71 Wale Street til en introduktion til området, der giver et overblik over historien om Cape Town og Bo-Kaap.
Bo-Kaap er en smuk, malerisk og farverig forstad, der ligger ved foden af Signal Hill i City Bowl i Cape Town. My Bo-Kaap: Walk With A Local tour was outstanding. Ms. Shamila, my excellent tour guide, is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and through her storytelling, I learned a wealth of knowledge in a few hours' time. Learning about the origins of Bo-Kaap and experiencing its strong sense of community was truly admirable. Ms. Shamila reminded me that travel is truly the best education. This is a tour that will always have a special place in my heart ❤️.
We had a nice tour of Bo Kaap, and learned about the history, religion, and culture of the area, and our guide pointed out some nearby sites that we were interested in visiting.
We had a fantastic tour of Bo-Kaap. Our tour guide, Sedick, was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the area and very comprehensive with his tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

One of the best experiences in Cape Town to gain a real appreciation for the BoKaap community. Our guide grew up in BoKaap and would share greetings with friends as he showed us around his neighborhood. The in-depth history was enlightening and the resilience and vibrancy of this community was inspiring. It was beautiful and delicious - our wonderful guide treated us to a warm koesister at the end of our tour.
What a nice guide we had! We were shown around by Ilyas, himself born and raised in Bo Kaap, very personal, showed us the neighborhood, told us a lot about the background, history, the faith. Would book with him again!
