Gå ind i skoven med en lokal trøflesjæger og uddannede hunde til at lede efter ægte sorte trøfler og se, hvordan de er omhyggeligt fundet og høstet. Afhentning på Al Habtoor Palace Budapest, Preferred Hotels & Resorts (Erzsébet tér 9–10, Når gruppen er samlet, går vi om bord på minivan og tager os til Etyek (ca. 40 minutter), efter en hurtig briefing om planen og timingen.
Kom til en mousserende vin velkomst på en historisk vandmølle fra det 17. århundrede. Hør, hvordan tryffeltraditioner møder ungarsk gæstfrihed i denne unikke indstilling; fantastisk sted for fotos.
Hovedet ind i skoven (ved møllen, let at gå) med en licenseret lokal trøflesjæger og hans uddannede hunde for en ægte søgning. Undervejs vil vi vise dig, hvordan hundene forberedes og håndteres, hvordan man "læser" terræn og træer, og etiketten i en respektfuld jagt. Vi vil også dele traditionerne for sort trøffel jagt i Ungarn og give en klar, gæstevenlig oversigt over de vigtigste regler, når søgninger er tilladt, hvor og med hvem tilladelse, og hvordan ansvarlig, lovlig trøffel jagt udføres i praksis.
Gourmet smagning (mølle smagning område) Smag på klassisk "natur" foie gras, vores signatur foie gras med sort trøffel & Tokaji Aszú, og trøffel smør kronet med frisk trøffel - parret med flere bobler. Lette bid inkluderet. Vi vil også forklare, hvordan du bruger sort trøfler i køkkenet, med praktiske tips om valg, opbevaring, barbering og efterbehandling af retter for at fange aromaen.
Hoteller i nærheden af Etyek Family Presshouse (Winemaker-Led) Kort landsby kørsel til Etyek (10 min). Nyd en smagsprøve på 4-5 lokalt fremstillede vine præsenteret af vinproducenten, hør pressens historie og besøg kælderen; ekstra snacks, hvis vinene kommer i stærk.
Dernæst tager vi til et andet vingårdshold, et af Etyeks ældste, historisk rige vingårde - hvor du vil sidde ned til en traditionel ungarsk frokost tilberedt på stedet og kombineret med vingårdens egne vine. Forvent udsigten til vinmarker og et afslappet, uheldigt tempo.
Komfortabel kørsel tilbage til den oprindelige mødested / drop-off i det centrale Budapest.

Highly recommended excursion to the countryside of Budapest for truffle hunting, wine tasting and lunch. It definitely is a highlight and not to be missed.
The event is an absolute recommendation! Especially if you are looking for something authentic off the beaten track. The guide George is incredibly warm and took care of us all day and provided us with exciting information about the country, truffles and wine. All very familiar with homemade products and not commercial. The scenery is also beautiful. We also only visited locations that are private and not publicly accessible. The dog handler Tommy was also great! The food was typical Hungarian and the truffles of super quality. An all-round successful event!!

We had a great day during this truffle hunt organized during our company seminar. The discovery of Budapest’s wineries is exciting and the truffle hunting demonstration is simply great and original. A big bravo to George and his father Joseph, two top guides, passionate, who taught us a lot about Hungary. Great atmosphere, perfect organization and memorable memories for the whole team. 👉 Must do if you are in Budapest!

A very unique experience and completely different from the usual tourist activities. Absolutely loved it, George was the best!
Today we went on a truffle hunting tour with our super friendly guide George. First we went to an old water mill outside of Budapest situated in the woods. We were welcomed by the owner with a glass of Hungarian “champagne. After that we went into the surrounding woods with George and the truffle hunter and his dog. In half an hour the dog found eleven truffles. Returned to the windmill George prepared amazing bites with foie gras and freshly shaved black truffle and some more of the nice wine. Then we went to a nearby village, where we met a local wine maker and we had a lovely wine tasting. A few white wines (sauvignon blanc and Chardonnay ), a lovely rose and we ended with a beautiful Pinot noir and a special cuvée. A great experience also because of the clear explanation of the owner of the winery and the wines he let us taste. We ended up in a small local restaurant nearby, where we had a wonderful stew and wine. After that George took us back to Budapest in the afternoon after a wonderful day and experience. We can highly recommend this trip. .
George picked us up in Budapest in a minibus and taken into the Hungarian countryside. We were made comfortable with water and snacks if needed and provided with fascinating commentary about truffles and the wine in Hungary. George and his team are truly passionate about their craft as was shown when we arrived at a beautiful 17th century mill and the owner, Stephen, showed us around. The mill and its grounds were beautiful. Inside we were treated to a lovely glass of sparkling wine. Then we met Tommy with his 2 gorgeous dogs and went truffle hunting! The dogs were so clever and we were lucky that they sniffed out so many truffles. We were sad to say goodbye to them! Back in the mill, George provided us with a selection of his family's truffle butter and foi gras on bread, with truffle shavings, accompanied with more glasses of sparkling wine It was truly delicious. Then we were driven to a village and introduced to Sandra who runs her family vineyard. We loved seeing the original wine press and visiting the underground cave to see the casks of wine. We tasted a few wines and were very impressed with the variety and their taste. Sandra was extremely interesting describing the wines and her family's history. The day continued with a visit to a beautiful Hungarian home where we had a local dish and the host provided us with more information on wines and tasting. The whole day was absolutely perfect and I recommend it highly. George looks after you so well, he and his team are dedicated to providing their guests with a unique and authentic experience. We loved the experience so much and cannot wait to to return to Hungary to repeat it! Thankyou George and team!
