This was an incredible day and trip!! We had ample time to explore the farms, gardens, waterfalls, and hills. We also were brought to a very local ramen shop that was the best we ever had!
The trip from Sapporo to Furano was a lovely drive through the countryside. The flower farms were beautiful and the Biei blue pond was breathtaking. It was crowded but apparently we got lucky as it wasn’t as bad that day. Pick a weekday to avoid the crowds. Our personal driver Andrew C was a great driver and very well informed about the sites. It also helped that we could communicate in English. I highly recommend this day trip option. Great for families with daughters taking instagram photos. The schedule is full of things to see and do but we never felt rushed.

Summer in Hokkaido offers a different kind of charm compared to winter; the colorful landscapes of Biei and Furano, in particular, are incredibly photogenic. Winter, on the other hand, transforms the region into a vast, pure white wonderland—we hope you’ll visit again to enjoy our winter activities!
Guide was excellent, not English speaking but we got by with Google translate. The drive is very far but broken up nicely by our guide. The personalization of the tour allowed us to adjust the itinerary to avoid some of the crowds.

This trip was absolutely worth it. Our driver, Koichi, was very kind, thoughtful and attentive throughout the day, which made the long journey comfortable and relaxing. He took great care of us, and every place we visited was incredibly beautiful. The itinerary was well planned, and we would happily recommend this experience to others.

The stops were interesting and the time at each stop was adequate. The driver was very accommodating despite speaking a little English. We very much enjoyed this tour. Tried all recommended flavors of ice cream and observed flowers at peak bloom.

We had an absolutely joyful time exploring Furano,lake Toya, blue pond and Shirahige falls.Every single destination was stunningly beautiful and the landscapes left our family in complete awe. The highlight of our experience, however, was our wonderful driver cum guide , Mrs Ori. Who went completely out of her way to ensure our journey was comfortable and smooth.we will never forget her warmth and incredible hospitality. To top it all off, Mrs Ori shared the wonderful news that the company had generously offered us a complimentary vehicle drop off from our hotel straight to the airport . This thoughtful gesture made our departure completely stress free. Thank you Viator and Mrs Ori, for s beautiful, seamless and deeply memorable family vacation! Highly recommended!
