Rejseplan
Efter indsamling fra dit hotel kl. 8.30 fortsætter vi med en kørsel rundt i byen for at se de historiske bygninger og monumenter. Derefter stopper vi i Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) for en fotomulighed med de farverige huse.
Derefter fortsætter vi til Table Mountain kabelbanestation for en guidet tur på toppen af Table Mountain. Vær opmærksom på, at denne attraktion er vejrafhængig. Tabel Mountain kabel-billetter er ikke inkluderet i vores turnépris. Kunderne skal købe deres egne Table Mountain-billetter. Vi anbefaler at købe billetter online forud for at springe billetkøerne over.
Efter denne fantastiske oplevelse af Table Mountain, vil vi køre gennem Atlantic Seaboard, passerer gennem forstæderne i Clifton, Camps Bay, Bakoven, Tolv Apostle, Llandudno og Hout Bay.
Et af verdens mest naturskønne drev er bestemt Chapman's Peak. Vi stopper ved et af udsigtspunkterne langs denne rute for at undre os over dens umiskendelige skønhed.
Vores næste stop er på Cape Point Vineyards. Nogle af de bedste vine i verdensklasse er lavet her især deres Sauvignon blanc.
Herfra kører vi direkte til Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, hvor vi vil udforske Dias og Vasco Da Gama krydser. Cape of Good Hope er, hvor de to havstrømme mødes og er den mest vestlige sydlige del af Afrika. Cape Point er også kendt som mødestedet for det kolde Benguela og de varme Agulhas-strømme.
Fra Cape of Good Hope kører vi til Boulders-stranden for at se mere end 2500 par afrikanske pingviner. Mød disse fortryllende havdyr i deres naturlige levested. Du har måske endda et tilfældigt møde med en af dem, der går langs dig på strandpromenaden.
Vores sidste stop vil være ved Groot Constantia-vingården, fødestedet for den sydafrikanske vinindustri og den ældste vingård i Sydafrika. Det var her Simon van der Stel plantede sine første vinmarker. I dag er Groot Constantia stadig et af de fineste vinproducerende gods i landet.

This was one of the best ways to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas. Our guide Mena Joseph was simply incredible! We were picked up on time from our hotel in Century City. Over the course of the day (10 hours), we covered various attractions like Bo-Kaap, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Chapman’s peak drive and Boulders beach penguin colony. Since we had picked the pre-paid admission option, Mena took care of all the admission formalities at various attractions, which was very helpful. We covered all the attractions at our own pace and never felt rushed and took some amazing pictures. Grand finale was the wine tasting at Groot Constantia Winery, which was cozy and lovely! We could not go to the top of the table mountain because the tram was closed for maintenance between July 26-Aug 8. In addition to, the wind was way too strong. Another thing to note- Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean do not meet at Cape of Good Hope- they actually meet at Port Aguilas- which is a 3 hour drive from Cape Town! (cannot be coveted in a day trip like this) Overall, this is a great day trip and we highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic time on the full day tour of Cape Town and surrounding areas. Our guide Gordon and driver Kyle were excellent and made the tour memorable for our family. The highlight was climbing up to the lighthouse at Cape of Good Hope and the incredible views. Also altering schedule to ride the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain later in the afternoon since the morning it was foggy and too windy. We would highly recommend this tour!

We had a great day during our day tour of Cape Town! Our guide was Gift and we had a wonderful time. Gift gave a lot of background information in the beginning, answered all of our questions and created a friendly atmosphere. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to see all the natural highlights of Cape Town in a reliable and organized way. We visited in winter and despite the cloudy weather and Table Mountain being closed, the other views were amazing. I highly recommend this experience!
