Bellthorpe Rainforest Privat tur

First of all, our guide Anita is a considerable person, who would arrange toilet spot during long drive(not all guide would think of this), and gave us some rest time and Dutch Stroopwafel after birding.☕ Second, our birding time in Bellthorpe Stay (which has massive hinterland of low elevation hill) was very precious to us. We never had small group birding and guiding experience together before, but we are glad to spot many native wild birds in real nature environment this time! 🦜(E.g. Noisy pitter, Wompoo fruit-dove, Golden whistler, Black Cockatoo...etc) And they have two lovely dogs!❤️ Third, the view of glass mountains in the café of Mary Cairncross is really great! It has more comfort trail compared to Bellthorpe Stay (but we love the more primitive trail of rainforest either), and the Red Cedars there are truly stunning. We heard catbird and other birds all around, and also spot one wild Pademelon having juicy fruit under the rainforest.🦘 Although we were a little worry about our science knowledge, birding knowledge and English, before we actually went on the trip, it turned out that we didn't have to worry about it, because Anita was patient and willing to listen and answer our replies and questions. And we're very lucky to have Anita to be our guide.👍 (Little reminder: Please remember to apply insect repellent that contains DEET or Picaridin before go into the rainforests. We didn't apply that, so one of us got bite from a tick after the trip.🥲)

It was great to be able to get to places not normally accessible to the general public and to see and learn about the local flora and fauna. We really enjoyed that it was a private tour. It was well paced and the tour guide was outstanding.

A truly personal and memorable day with Anita, a fabulous day out of the city although not too far to travel, with wonderful guided tours in the rainforests. Anita was able to tell us about the wildlife and the bush, and took us for a beautiful lunch along the way. A cuppa with the owner of the property after our first walk was fantastic, great to have some insight into owning such a beautiful property. (Can stay there too)! Absolutely loved every bit of it, well thought out and arranged, and Anita is flexible and helpful.

10/10 From start to finish this was a wonderful trip. Waterfalls, beautiful sceneries, birds, pademelons and the views going to and from this adventure were amazing. Stopping for lunch with the glasshouse mountains in the background is hard to beat. Can not express how much I loved this trip. Anita is fantastic with her knowledge of the local fauna and flora. She is also great company.

We enjoyed our visit to Bellthorpe Rain forest and were happy to see a Regent Bowerbird. Lunch at the Mary Cairn Cross Restaurant was very nice. We also enjoyed the rainforest tour that we did at Mary Cairn Cross and getting a chance to have a lovely view of the Glass Mountains. Anita picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel and we were able to do things at our own pace, as this was a private tour.
